I have a Pembroke Corgi. You may have heard that they shed a lot but, really, they only shed twice a year: all through Spring and Summer and then again all through Autumn and Winter. Brushing the dog(s) is a full time and never-ending job with Corgis. I only mention that as a basis for this product. My dog is brushed every night so when I saw this glove advertised (somewhere. I don't remember where but I bought it on Amazon) ... well .... it was late at night and I was bored and ... I just bought it. It was inexpensive so if it didn't work or work as advertised, it wouldn't be any sort of major loss. (There's some old saying; something about a fool and money but I can never remember all of it.) Well, fortunately, this glove works. And it works well. And my dog loves it much more than she loves the usual brush and she loves that a lot. Now, whether it will remove huge amounts of dog hair, I don't know. Like I said, I brush my dog every night so this is just a "between major shedding periods" supplement to our daily routine. But it does work well and the dog really likes the "softer" brushing of the glove over the stiffer plastic bristles of her brush. ... show more

It definitely takes the loose fur off and is very easy to use. The only issue is it’s very tight on the wrist and there is no way to adjust the size so I don’t use it as a glove I just wipe it over my pets fur.

This is my second time purchasing this item. Easy to clean and really helps remove loose pet hair on both cats and dogs. Suggest starting early when pet is young as some older cats may take a little patience to introduce to a new method of "petting".

I wouldn't believe it unless I bought it. This is absolutely amazing! Zumi loves the comb glove. She is a medium hair kitty. Both sides work great. The blue comb side picks up the hair better and the smooth black side is more soothing to use after the blue rubber side. We love this glove!

I don’t write many reviews on Amazon but felt compelled to say something about this product in particular. First off, when my cat sees me putting on the glove she becomes visibly excited. I imagine all of those little rubber nubs most feel extremely good as they push down past her fur and rub over her skin. Secondly, I am absolutely gobsmacked over how much loose fur has come off of her. I never would imagined that there was that she was shedding as much as she is. I have probably used it on her 7 times since I got it. I keep expecting to reach a point when I collect no hair, but even on the seventh pass it is still picking up loose hair that’s been trapped under her top coat. The only real noticeable difference now is that it is not matting into a single piece as much now (the first 5 times, I pulled the fur off in one solid piece from the glove, Now it is a little less solid, coming off a finger at a time, so I feel like we may be approaching some kind of conclusion now. Haha) With all that said, I’m genuinely surprised at how much my cat needed this item, and happy that she enjoys it as much as she does! ... show more

It is ok with removing hair from my dog but literally the fur was everywhere and yes the fur stuck to the glove and then it was difficult to remove from the glove ....overall the price is good
