I got this to use on my elderly cat who can fully clean around his belly areas and it’s very gentle. It also gets hair off easily and pretty simple to clean off bristles.

I don’t write many reviews on Amazon but felt compelled to say something about this product in particular. First off, when my cat sees me putting on the glove she becomes visibly excited. I imagine all of those little rubber nubs most feel extremely good as they push down past her fur and rub over her skin. Secondly, I am absolutely gobsmacked over how much loose fur has come off of her. I never would imagined that there was that she was shedding as much as she is. I have probably used it on her 7 times since I got it. I keep expecting to reach a point when I collect no hair, but even on the seventh pass it is still picking up loose hair that’s been trapped under her top coat. The only real noticeable difference now is that it is not matting into a single piece as much now (the first 5 times, I pulled the fur off in one solid piece from the glove, Now it is a little less solid, coming off a finger at a time, so I feel like we may be approaching some kind of conclusion now. Haha) With all that said, I’m genuinely surprised at how much my cat needed this item, and happy that she enjoys it as much as she does! ... show more

Honestly one of my best purchases. I've tried multiple brushes for my cat and this is the only one she actually likes. She will lay flat on the ground and purr like crazy while I'm brushing her. Not to mention this works sooooo much better than other brushes. I can get a lot more fur with this than other brushes. It fits great on the hand and it's light too. However it's a bit hard to clean and you can't get rid of 100% of the fur on it....it will also have a little bit of fur stuck to the black fabric 😬 ... show more
