I saw a similar tool (maybe the same: couldn't tell) on an online video for K'eyush, the Malamute dog. His owner was using it to deep clean hair off of the carpet after brushing him. She also used it on his bed. I seemed to do a great job. I have shedding pets, so I thought I would give this a try. My longhair German Shepherd mix had to do an overnight stay at the vet and I wanted to send his crate bed with him for comfort. I vacuumed it but it still had hair on it. This was definitely time to try the new products. The bed was a large button pillow made out of a canvas material. I used the tool with the wooden handle. The hair just rolled off in clumps, easy to pick up and toss. It did a great job. So, before he came home, I decided to give his other beds a clean. I tried the other tool on his suede like bed. It easily got under and around the bolsters, pushing the loose hair into clumps. Much better than a lint roller. And since I could move it easily in different directions, made it easier than the lint brush. It was also easier to clean than a lint brush, which always seems to have hair left on it, no matter how hard I try to remove it all. I have not tried it yet on clothes, but I would definitely recommend this to shedding pet owners to clean pet beds, couches, etc.

I am a crazy cat lady who is also recovering from housing my son's husky for 3 years. Pet hair is a fashion statement for us. All my area rugs are low pile and super super hard to vacuum up the pet hair typically requiring me to sweep them or roll the hair off with my hands. When I saw these I was curious, but in no way thought these would be effective..... I was WRONG! These work very very well! Carpets, clothing and furniture. This revolutionizes life for me, the fact that it's no longer as obvious that I am cat crazed. Both tools are decently made and appear that they should last though a lot of use and abuse. These are also easy to clean. For the present price of $7.49, I am picking up more of these for family and friends!

Item: Pros: -Gets up pet hair and cat puke from low peel carpet and rugs. if the cat puke is dried it gets all of it (metal scraper). -Plastic scraper works on micro fiber ok and your more delicate fabrics -Good for cars and small areas Cons: -Too small (only for small areas). I have 4 cats and a dog. I have sort’ve just accepted that I’m always gonna have pet hair on my bed and clothes most of the time. I use lint rollers, but they’re never 100% effective. This little device is a miracle worker and easy to use…when you swipe a hairy area, it totally captures every bit of hair! It leaves a tidy clump that makes it so easy to dispose of the hair. I prefer the one with the wooden handle, it is a little more effective. It works on rugs, furniture, blankets…so versatile and durable. This tool is a great value and every household that has any dogs or cats should have one! I highly recommend it.

These things work fantastic on rugs or cat condo things. Basically they work great on carpet type material. They did not work very well on microfiber or my woven sofa, So if you are getting it more for that type of material I think there is probably a better option out there.

The media could not be loaded. I have learned that my vacuum probably does a better job than I knew, but these are great for in-betweens vacuum sessions, and for multiple surface that are difficult to vacuum, like my furniture and quilt, and the cat tree in the last photo. The wooden handled device is metal and seems solidly made. The metal part is firmly in place, and the metal has some give but should not deform with appropriateuse. Both scraping surfaces are the same, have small ridges that work great on cut-pile carpet. They also worked on a short loop-pile carpet and the cat tree. These snag on smooth upholstery and clothes. The plastic device has a nubby surface much like a short bristled brush, and a second rubbery surface similar to the metal cleaner. These can both be used on carpets, but also on smoother surfaces like upholstery, a velour pillow my cats sleep on, and clothes. The toothed rubber surface is the most useful, as it seems to work on every surface. The nubby surface is gentler than the metal and gets deeper for surfaces with pile like my rug, but does seem to snag a bit on smoother surfaces. My cats enjoyed being brushed with it, and it collected some fur. The plastic parts just snap onto the handle, one came off once as I was cleaning. They go back into place easily, will see if they loosen up over time. Likely this allows cleaning the uit and for ease of manufacturing. I believe if they loosen, I can just instant glue permanently.
