Why'd I wait so long to buy this? I don't know! It's super powerful, solidly built, and much quieter than I thought it'd be. I put off buying it for so long because people said it's as loud as a vacuum, which drives my dogs crazy. However, it's not as loud as my vacuum and my dogs actually like it! I guess to them it's a little like sticking their head out the window of a moving car (though without the bugs!). The range of air speed is really great and the heat function works well (but my fluffy dogs prefer the no heat setting as they get hot too easily otherwise). Is there anything I wish were different? A longer hose would be nice. The included hose stretches, but requires too much pull to do so, and I wish it was about 2' longer. When you're drying dogs that are 120+ pounds, the extra length would allow for them and the motor to stay put but I could move around them easier. Not only does it work great at drying their thick, dense, double coat, but it's also great at shedding time (though makes a mess with hair flying everywhere, so I do it outside on the deck!) It's been a great purchase that I regret not buying a long time ago. If you've got fluffy friends, get it, you won't be disappointed.

WORKS FENOMENALLY ON MY TWO SHIBAS AND THEIR DOUBLE COATS. WAS ABLE TO DRY BOTH BABIES IN LESS THEN 40 MINUTES. IT IS LOUDER THEN USUAL HAIR DRIER BUT IT DIDNT SCARE MY BABIES AS I FIRST INTRODUCED IT TO THEM BEFORE BATH. THE OTHER GREAT THING IT HAS IS A BRUSH KIND NOZZLE , THAT MY BABIES LOVED WHEN I WAS DRYING THEM AND SCRATCHING THEM AT THE SAME TIME. sO ABSOLUTELY GREAT FOR THE GREAT PRICE!!!!

Neither of my dogs like to get dried after a bath with my hair dryer. My dog groomer used this and I decided to order one to have at home. My 2 dogs actually love getting dried now & sit for me. The dryer pushes the undercoat hair out of them without getting all knotted up. Both my dogs have very long hair. This also helps me from having to brush them with a painful wire brush. Very sturdy product with a lot of power. You can choose from heat to just room temperature air. I’ve had it over a year and I’m their dog groom now. This has saved me a lot of money. 5 stars !

Ive had this product for a good bit now and use it a LOT! I have two retrievers that I groom myself. This product is great and helping remove the dreaded undercoat and is also a fantastic dryer. I keep this plugged up at the door inside my garage and dry wet feet on rainy or wet days and it has been great not having to towel the dogs every time they come in, as well as decreased the amount of dirt they track into the house. My only complaint is that the knob that controls how hard the dryer blows has loosened up somehow and I have to pull up on it to get it to run. I keep a little tool wedged under the knob so that I can use it. Not sure how to fix it but also did not contact the seller so that's on me.

I love this. Dries way better than any normal human blow dryer. Dog freaked out at first with the noise but she got used to it. Power cord isn't the longest but no biggie with a normal extension cord. Haven't used any of the attachments yet and I don't feel I need it. But it is very powerful

First of all,,, I'm not sure why some reviews say this unit is noisy. I'm impressed on how quiet this unit while operating. Very well built, solid. The heat function is actually too good. Air temperatures can reach too high if left on while using. I found the best way to utilize heat is to turn it on for the first 3 minutes of use then turn off as the motor warmth is enough to keep your pup from overheating. I use this on my mini Aussie with medium coat and he loves it. Powerful enough to blow a path in his coat to check for any bugs that may have found refuge during our walks in the woods. I recommend this unit. Works perfect.
