Love, love, love it. Was looking for more “tasteful” options for play tunnels when a new kitty came into my life, but when I saw this one, I had a huge “duh” moment. What else would even be appropriate for my new Pretty Pretty Princess Kitty(gorgeous and goofy, if the occasional diva, adult Ragdoll) than purple, rainbows, sparkles, and unicorns? Thoughts of an entirely tastefully decorated space immediately flew out the window when I came across this after weeks of casual searching. Jokes on me! Not only is it delightful(it even has a tail to go with that usually floppy sparkly horn!), but it also seems to be quite sturdy and very well made of materials that will hold up well... unless she decides to use it as a chew toy... then all bets are off, no matter the quality of the toy or item. The tunnel has two layers of material, one of which is the outside, and an inner layer that sounds remarkably like a plastic bag, which comes in handy for the cat when she decides that it’s time to wake me for breakfast. It is super crinkly and has a bunch of entranc/exits. If you have more than one cat or kittens this will facilitate lots of hours of fun. We have one in the shelter and it's the first thing the cats look for when we let them out of their kennels. The crinklyness lasts for months.

This cat toy is so nice!! At first our kitten was afraid of it (she's about the size of its face) but she quickly got over that. She loves to zoom though it and "hide" which is cute became u can hear it crinkling when she's hiding. The main body also has the crinkle effect. It's ALOT bigger then I thought it would be. I am 5"11 and if i stand it up on the end it reaches to about my shoulders, also the legs reach out about as wide as my arms. So its nice it can be collapsed into a little ring to be put up when needed. It seems like the fabric is durable, our kitten is about 4 months old and her little razors have yet to make any holes in it. I will say if your putting it on hardwood you may want to put a rug or mat under it because it will slide if your cat zooms in, but ours seems to enjoy that lol. My new rescue cat absolutely loves her mewnicorn tunnel. She is a young cat who needs daily play. She races through it, hides in it, and loves to lay in wait for me to walk by so she can pounce on me. The best part are the sparkly "hooves" which are open to the sides. She can scoot right into the tunnel that way, but her favorite things is to lay inside and grab at the hooves while I poke them with something or shine a laser pointer on them. The mewnicorn body and hooves make a crinkly sound, and that really gets her riled up. This tunnel toy makes for great self-directed play and play with me. My only complaint is that the unicorn horn, ears and mane do not stick up as in the photo, but lay flat; and the sides are permanently wrinkled. It distracts from the cuteness of the design. However, I am pleased with its durability. So far it has lasted for three months of hard play from my large cat. ... show more

My cautious cat was a little put off by the loud crinkle texture of the material, so it took her a few attempts to really come to grips with it, but by the end of the first day she was all the way in, swiping at me with her little paw through the arm and leg holes, scooting through, hiding in the middle, peeking out, she was LOVIN IT. It comes with ties on one end so you can theoretically gathering the hoops together and tie it up to put it away, which I was counting on because my apartment is small and I don’t need the entire living area full of a big crinkly tiger tube, and I like to rotate my little lady’s toys, and it DOES technically work, but the ties are way too short to make it easy, and I wish the ties were like 3 inches longer, because it was a bit of a production to get it secured. I might end up just using Velcro ties instead because I don’t want to have to engage in a life or death struggle every time to get it contained. If you live in a huge house with a room just for cat enrichment, you’re good, don’t even worry about it, BUY THIS TOY. But if you live in a small space and want to be able to put it away, just a small warning about the difficulty of doing that, I recommend getting an alternate method for securing it. ... show more

Wow! Such a great product! Very well made, and ADORABLE! Personally...I found it very welcoming. I put catnip, and couple favorite toys inside, peeked through the holes at my three cats, talking sweetly while they sat and stared blankly at me. Periodically over the next two weeks, I did the same thing. I tossed some treats inside, which they ventured in to get... when I wasn't looking. After tripping over the adorable cat toy (almost killing myself), I decided to scrunch it up and try again in a few months. My cats are very playful, and athletic, they have no excuses for not loving this thing. However, they do have "the lights are on but nobody's home," faces that some cats are born with. My best advice is, take a good look at your cat's face before purchasing. It really IS a great product, and I do recommend it. It's just these three hooligans... ... show more
