This coat is so cute. It snaps under the tummy. It fits my two and a half pound puppy. The belt helps snug it up. The only thing I would and did change is a slit for the loop on a harness.

The media could not be loaded. The stitching, material and baubles of this garment is top of the line. Cutest silver buttons and belt! Really love the fur trim! My Bebè is wearing an XS and weighs just under 4lbs. It truly is a perfect fit and lovely quality coat.

I just received this ADORABLE coat I ordered for my 6lb Bichonpoo. I LOVE IT! It seems very durable so far. I will agree with others and say it runs small. I normally buy an extra small for her and this is a medium. If your dog has a large neck you may even want to go up one more size. The snaps hold together very well and it actually comes with one extra button sewed to the sleeve in case one falls off (or gets chewed off) the back. Overall I’m really happy with it. ... show more

Cute. Have a small maltese dog about 4 pounds I got the small and it fits ok. Somewhat large but she is so tiny. The leg openings are a little too far apart so when she walks she waddles. Not the best design but very cute design and the wool material seems very nice as well as the fur collar so it is worth getting and fitting it to your dog. I bought this for my almost 1 year old miniature dachshund. I naturally went for a size small. Bad idea. The sleeves were tight, and only after fighting the snaps could we get it mostly fastened. She walked around for a moment very stiffly (making us laugh...yeah, we're mean...) before we took it off her. Should have ordered a size medium. Needed a coat immediately though, so we are just returning for a refund rather than an exchange. I imagine a size medium would fit her ok, if not slightly loose. Just realize you may need to size up from what you think your dog would fit into. It's a lovely coat other than sizing. Looks warm and the fabric feels nice, and the construction seems pretty solid from what I can see. If you're thinking about getting this for YOUR dachshund, order a size medium, and realize also that it only goes to their mid back, no further. It's a very short coat length-wise (another reason we decided not to just exchange for a different size). ... show more

At first I was kinda nervous about ordering the jacket because of the reviews saying it runs small and I saw very tiny dogs in it, until I saw another picture of a pug in a large which was fitted on him or her and the weight I believe was 14lbs estimating I think the dog weighed. so my shorkie weighs 10.8 pounds. and i think in the tummy she chunky and when I measured her she was measured at 14 to 15 inches so looking at that pic and I saw that pug In a large fitted, I took a chance on getting a x large for my shorkie because one of her leather coats is a medium and shes fitted in that coat which i took a chance for my shorkie to get a x large and it was not fitted nor too big she has much room in it. Thank you I would recommend only for small dog only donot try and squeeze your furry baby into this jacket if more than 15 pounds.AGAIN only for toypups or toy dogs. Please donot think that a big dog will be able to fit. it's nice quality the only thing I donot like is that the silver buttons could been more reinforced but I would purchase the grey one aswell.
