This duvet cover is everything: super soft (and keeps getting better after every wash), durable (I wash mine often), the zipper at the bottom has no issues closing/opening (even after all those washes), and it's beautiful. It does wrinkle a bit but it's so beautiful and comfortable that I don't mind that so much. I would ask the seller to make the zipper handles bigger, that would be my only complaint (it hurts my hands a bit to pull it through). Oh, by the way, you can't see or feel the zipper because it has a nice extra edge of fabric at the very bottom in case you were worried about it. It's expensive but worth every penny. The quality of this duvet is outstanding! I paired it with a designer sheet set (the ones that Presidents sleep on) and honestly, I can’t see the difference. For a fraction of the price, I got a duvet cover that is soft, natural fibers and bright white. The only tiny complaint I have, it that there are not better fasteners for the corners, but that’s knitpicking. Overall, it feels like you are sleeping with a duvet that is 5x the price. The feel of the material of this duvet is very nice. And I like the zipper rather than the buttons. I’m a hot sleeper and I find this duvet a bit too warm most nights. Perfect if you need that extra warmth.

I purchased a new feather duvet insert from Costco and was in search of a high quality product to pair my insert with. I used the Hotel Grand brand duvet insert, $100 on sale at Costco. After a lot of online research, very few products met my criteria: -High thread count -zipper closure -percale cotton -100% cotton -machine washable It is made in Peru. Made in USA would have been ideal. This met all criteria. It is soft to the touch and washes easily. It keeps cool even in warmer weather and pairs well with the duvet insert. The product has 4 corner ties at each corner to secure the insert. I think 2 more in the middle would be ideal to further secure the insert because it is a bit more difficult to make sure the insert is fully evenly distributed if it is your first time doing this process. The colors leave something to be desired, but I am happy with the muted beige for my initial purchase. Overall, the pairing of a duvet cover and duvet insert is more expensive, but well worth it. It definitely beats a comforter or other similar substitutes. ... show more

I paired this duvet cover with a wool filled comforter and haven't slept this well in ages. The duvet cover looks and feels wonderful on our bed. There were no smells. It fit my duvet perfectly. The ties in the corner hold everything in place. I will definitely buy Peru Pima again and have recommended to several friends and family. My daughter has already ordered the same set for her house! The only issue I had was ordering the wrong color the first time. I initially ordered ivory and found it to look yellow in my room. But, I returned it for a full refund. Having seen the quality of these, I reordered the white right away and was very excited to get them on my bed, but amazon lost my first order which delayed the process. But, now that I have been sleeping with this set for a few days, I will say it was definitely worth the wait! ... show more

I am very satisfied with this duvet cover. It definitely has the correct thread count. It is very crisp and thick, but still breathable. It's a very bright white color. The zipper works. Nice and cool for sleeping. I'm impressed with the quality.

I bought these exact sheets when I lived in Lima and I was excited to find them on Amazon a few years later. The sheets are definitely of lesser quality and they wrinkle more (the older ones did wrinkle but they smoothed out better). The one improvement is the zipper closure.
