We bought for the beach to put in our tent for our little girl and it was not good for this. Would work fine at a desk or very small space but wasn’t what we were looking for and tips over easily. Also wouldn’t turn on at first.

    • Not great, but not terrible either.
Not a bad AC unit, but has some flaws that prevent it from being exceptional. Water leaked out of the Water Level Window. Thankfully it wasn't too bad, and a piece of tape was able to seal it. The cord is way too short, and like many others, it's just a USB which means you can't plug it into a standard outlet. The bottom is too open, which makes it easy for water to spill out if you've filled it up and are moving the unit somewhere (best to leave it where you intend to have it and fill it up with a cup) I wish they offered a second filter cartridge and ice cube trough, that way you could have one in the freezer chilling while using the other, and then be able to swap them out. Even if it was something bought separately, that'd be good. It does have its positives. The fan is good, and the cool air can reach a fair distance even on low setting. Nice compact design. Visually pleasant. Not terribly complicated to use. It's an okay device I'm content to have now, but if I had to buy another portable AC, I wouldn't automatically get another one of these and would shop around. ... show more

    • Inconvenient/like a fan
I dislike having to refill this with water every day. It’s kind of a hassle and it does not get my room cool like it was advertised. I’m just sticking to my small fan beside my bed. I regret spending money on this, but it’s too too late to return it.
