  • it works
don't really need to let set for 5 minutes. It starts setting up pretty fast

  • Worked like a charm!
My headliner was falling off in my car. Needed a quick fix. Worked perfectly. I sold the car right after I fixed it so not sure how well it stayed but it most certainly worked when I used it. I also bought a roller tool to roll the headliner after I applied the adhesive.

  • Know the condition of the materials you are trying yo adhere.
So, on my 2009 VW Rabbit, the head liner has a foam material between the "board" and cloth lining. Before trying the product, and seeing the factory glue had pulled the foam apart. Foam is still stuck to the cloth. The foam padding is deteriorating, the factory foam lining is FAILING. Now, I love this product. Read the label people, and follow instructions, but keep in mind what your head lining problem is. My headliner will fall again soon. Because the FOAM I am trying to readhear the liner to is old and poop! If I were installing new foam and fabric lining, this product is awesome. I may be "beating a dead horse" with my saggy head liner, but I still like the product. Don't forget to hold your can upside-down and spray until no glue comes I out. ... show more

  • Buy 2 for standard headliners
Definitely happy with the quality, just wish it would of lasted a bit longer. 1 and a quarter cans is needed for a standard headliner with minimal coats, 2 or so needed to do a good job.

  • Perfect!
I had a couple small places where my headliner was starting to come loose. This adhesive was simply to use and I can't even tell where the liner was coming loose. There are youtube tutorials that show you how to apply it. I had searched for the best headliner adhesive and this permatex one is the highly recommended! ... show more

  • Not the Experience We were Hoping For
The stuff was sticky and came out of the can more like silly string than a mist. I guess that's to be expected. I think we were hoping to be able to pull down a portion of the headliner, spray the adhesive on both surfaces, let it tack up and then stick them together, but surprisingly the adhesive or more likely the foam between the headliner shell and fabric had disintegrated to a point that didn't provide a good bonding surface. The entire headliner began to sag again and my wife was devastated that not only did it not work, it left the project worse than when started. We had a bunch of over spray and I am hesitant using a solvent. Ultimately we ended up using headliner repair buttons which do look tacky, but so far have done a good job. As long as I don't look up I can't even tell they're there. They look even better at night! ... show more
