I will say you have to take your time and do a good job cleaning out the chip. After cleaning I always blow out the chip with clean compressed air. Almost all of the chips I have repaired are nearly impossible to find.

I made a dime size chip in my windshield practically disappear. Super easy to use. Those scammers on the side of the road charge four times as much to do this easy procedure.

    • Didn't Work
3 small chips on windshield. Bought a 6 pack of this product because it was only $10 more than buying 3 individual packs... Followed the instructions completely and watched several YouTube videos.... well... still have 3 small chips... waste of money and more importantly time and energy. Bad product

    • What a mess
OK, so I am assuming that this product does what it says. That said, the adhesive between the disc you apply to the window and the base you use to add the resin came undone on one of the two I used today. This allowed more resin than could have possibly have fit in the little tube to pour down my windshield. I wiped it up with a paper towel, my mistake. In the light I had it looked good. I parked in the direction of the sun to allow the resin to fully cure and found that what I had wiped up was actually smeared across my windshield. After much scraping and a couple of large alcohol-soaked towelettes it still does not look great. In the end it will take more time to clean up the mess than to make the repair. :-( ... show more

I keep one of these in all my vehicles now. It seems rock chips happen more often these days, I have used this numerous times and never had a crack run if I caught it in time. it takes a little time to go through the process but will save you $150-$500 for a new windshield.
