I really like the price but the ink on these dry up . I've had these for only 3 months and half thrown away bout half now because they dry up.

    • Gets the job done
I used these in a very dirty, mill/shop setting. I was having trouble with ball-point pens getting gummed up quickly and thought to give these a try. The first one worked well for a couple of days, then had a reservoir failure. Fortunately, the failure was contained within the cap and I didn't have a bleedout onto my shirt. The second one has been a champ, working for a couple of weeks now. The tip doesn't collect the dirt and metal the same way that the ink on a ball point does. Even when it does collect a little bit, a quick swipe of the felt tip and I'm back in business. The caps have a very stout positive snap into place. If you don't make certain the cap is actually on, the tip will dry out rather quickly. Also, if stored tip-up, it seems that the ink doesn't wick into the tip very well, and will seem like it has dried out or died. Keeping the pen tip-down seems to work much better. Hard to beat the price, even if I only get a week or two out of each pen. ... show more

These pens are a good value. The ultra fine in this brand is not as fine as the ultra fine pens I've been using. The cost is great and they ship to Alaska. I'm not impressed with vendors in the lower 48 who have small products to ship to Alaska and refuse to use USPS. USPS is extraordinarily good for these items but stores are disinterested in USPS. Sure times are a bit delayed, but they are a heck of a lot better priced. These pens arrived quickly. ... show more
