This device is amazing!!!! I got it two months ago and the hair is not growing anymore. I would just be careful with the levels if you have sensitive skin don’t go too high, and definitely do not use it if you had just gotten a tan, it’s not a good idea you might burn your skin since it’s IPL and not ideal for dark skin. So far, so good! I've done 12 treatments and notice some areas growing slower. Will continue for the next 5 months or so to see if it stops more growth. I started on level 2, and recommend starting on the lower end then working your way up. I tried to skip a few levels- that hurt a bit (snapping feeling & tingle/burns). Be patient! I had a Silkin that is now been around for a few years and it did it's job. This is however more effective and I do not have to stay after it as I did with the Silkin. I am completely satisfied and love the cooling part really well.

For what this is, for what this is worth, it's a 5 star prouduct but we must go over things This is not a product everyone can use this. IPL does not work with some hair color/skin color. It won't work if you have red, blond, white or gray hair and It won't work if you have naturally dark skin. It has a built-in skin tone sensor that will make it not even flash at all so are wasting your time/money if you buy this. Don't use this you are going to tan or be in the sun. Plan accordingly. Either use this all winter when you won't be in sun or always wear really good sunscreen for 2 weeks after using this. you will probably need to keep doing treatments periodically. It takes 18-24 months depending on your hair growth cycle so this is no quick fix This isn't something you use a couple weeks before going on a beach vacation. I used it on my underarms. Do not shave first. It will burn Like a burn wherever you've shaved. They give you glasses. USE THEM. ... show more
