For some reason that escapes me i have not used any stands for my tv devices. This is until ordering this neat medium height and adjustable at that, stand from the Perlegear brand. This is a universal design that will work with most TV's within the certain specifications of 32 to 70 inches. I was impressed with how many extra bolts there were, due to covering all the ground that would involve different tv models, from countless brands that are available. Before this sturdy and well thought out TV stand design i was using those small plastic legs that come with most modern flat screen/smart TV's. Those can be problematic if you have pets such as cats that like to jump around. Those kinds of feet will place the tv at a great risk of toppling over. With this Perlegear stand, your tv will sit snuggly within the bracket system that has many different adjustable options, along with the aforementioned hardware coverage of the common models' of TVs that may differ from each other. This is not hard to put together and can be easily accomplished with one person assuming the tv set is not too large and hard to work with. This did take me about 45 minutes to put together though it was worth it. This is not hard but tedious to assemble, but i respect that because part of the reason it took me so long was the extra pieces, and alternative ways to assemble it; led to extra time being taken to find the right diagram and option for my TV. I like how there is a sturdy glass base. This is a heavy glass that assured the unit, once put together, will not topple over. I like the idea of the small adhesive rubber pieces that you attach to the bottom of that base. Those seem to work much better than if they were made of metal. The rubber of those makeshift feet contribute nicely tot he base staying in place. I like how there is enough space on the front of the glass base to be able to fit a media system of your choice. I like non stream based media, so i placed a DVD player in that region of the stand. I like the two small metal pieces that act as additional support tot he tv once it is attached to the bracket system. Those small pieces eliminated any worry i had about the stand staying firmly in place within the bracket setup. To conclude, i am very happy with this tv stand and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and sturdy contraption. I used this to lift a 42" smart lcd tv I had standing on top of an old wooden console tv to see how well it works. It seems very sturdy. I'm going to upgrade to a 60" inch tv that I've had my eye on soon that the base is too wide to fit on top of the console and will be swapping them out.

I have no doubt that this will hold a 70" TV as it claims. This stand is heavy duty and went together with ease. It's really affordable too. I have a tall dresser in my bedroom, and this stand helped me to get the TV up higher. It's nearly to the ceiling now, which is good for viewing the TV while lying in bed. ... show more
