Visually it is appealing and looks well constructed. The weight is not bad and feels goodie the hands. I like that there are multiple opens for the angles, I will have to play around with this when I get a chance. One thing to note is the right hand side is more oval than round so initially I thought it was bent and returned and got a new one. This paddle has treated me well. I have pushed myself 50 yards through mud and silt, pushed off of reeds and rocks, scraped the ground paddling in shallow areas, through salt and fresh water, areas clogged with vegitation, clean and dirty water and other than a few marks on the very edge of the blade, it's like brand new. Also, nothing seems to stick to it. I can only recall one time where i actually had to wash mud off of it. It is comfortable to use and still looks like brand new after 15 or so outings and 50 plus miles. The blades do flex a but when you really dig in hard, but it takes a lot of effort to get to that point. It also floats almost too well. Trying to use it to check your depth can be a chore because of this :) ... show more

I recently bought the Deja vu perception tribe kayak and this paddle matches perfectly. It is very lightweight and works much better than your standard paddle. Perception does not disappoint!

Liked the item, but received it literally in nothing but a long clear plastic bag, placed directly in a cardboard box, no protective wrap or insulation whatsoever. I got lucky that it wasn’t damaged in shipping. That may not be the case for you.

A bit pricey. I cut my own "drip notches" into the lower edge. Can't say that it's any better than any 20-30 dollar version that I've used but it gets the job done.

Quality paddle in a good price range. It's not cheap feeling and the balance is good. Nice size paddles for a power stroker like myself. Beautiful color.
