This is a very nice kayak paddle, with many features that enhance its usability. The shafts can be assembled at neutral alignment, or +/- 60 degrees for paddling comfort. The shafts are oblong where your hands are in contact, for a comfortable fit. Drip rings are included to prevent water dripping during use. This is your typical hollow aluminum handle kayak paddle that you'd buy with your plastic ocean kayak from Dick's. It's great for a casual user, but may be lacking in the hands of a pro. It has a nice finish and locks together easily. I have no problem recommending this.

Nice paddle for casual use. With a hollow aluminum shaft I would not want to bet my life on it whitewater kayaking, however it does a fine job on my SUP -- I like it way better than a regular SUP paddle for seated paddling.
