The Samsung 27" S3 (S32GF) FHD High Resolution 120Hz Monitor is a great monitor for work, home or games. It has an IPS panel which will give you great colors that are bright and clear. It has a higher than standard refresh rate at 120 Hz which will really help with fast paced scenes or gaming and will smooth out whatever you are working on. It comes with built-in game scenes based on which genre you select such as FPS games. That combined with the higher refresh rate will make it a decent gaming monitor. The build quality is typical Samsung and is better then most competitors and it has really small bezels and is an overall slim monitor. It is a great price and just a little more than most 24" monitors, so you get a lot of bang for your buck. It is a great monitor for a work at home setup such as mine and I can recommend the Samsung 27" S3 (S32GF) FHD High Resolution 120Hz Monitor!

I’ve been using this Samsung 27" S3 monitor for a couple of weeks now as part of a dual-screen setup alongside a curved QHD display (Samsung LC27G55TQWNXZA). While it’s not going to replace my curved screen as my primary for media or design work, it serves its role really well as a lightweight, responsive, and sharp secondary monitor. Pros: 120Hz support at 1080p, which was a nice surprise. Motion is noticeably smoother than a standard 60Hz screen, especially when browsing or watching media. IPS panel with slim bezels looks great on the desk — almost no border on the sides, which helps in multi-monitor setups. Very lightweight, which makes it super easy to mount or move around. Perfect for general use, office work, or media streaming. Cons: Not really a gaming monitor in the traditional sense. While 120Hz is nice, there’s no VRR support, and the color/contrast isn’t what I’d want for immersive gameplay. If gaming is your priority, you might want to shell out a bit more for something better suited to that use. The power button doubles as the settings joystick, and it's located on the back of the monitor. This makes adjusting anything a bit awkward — especially in a multi-monitor setup where this might be on the far side. I really wish it were on the bottom or side. Camera/light bar placement is tricky — because the bezel is so thin (a plus in most cases), any webcam or monitor light bar will slightly intrude into your screen. Not a dealbreaker, but it does block browser tabs at the top. Color & Calibration Notes: As shown in the images, I compared both monitors side-by-side using a Datacolor Spyder calibration tool. The image on the left shows my Spyder-calibrated curved display, which I use for media and design work. The right is the Samsung S3 out of the box (brighter screen), as well as calibrated as best as possible using the Spyder, Windows, and Nvidia Control settings. Despite calibration, the S3 retains a much warmer tone and limited contrast range, especially in shadow areas. It’s perfectly fine for everyday use and even looks vibrant for web content, but it's not accurate enough for photo or print work. The difference is especially apparent when editing darker images or detailed graphics. Final Thoughts: If you need a reliable, sharp, and modern-looking monitor for general productivity, web work, streaming, and occasional light gaming, this is a great option at the price point. Just be aware that it’s not a color-accurate editing screen or a high-end gaming display — and that power button placement might drive you a little nuts if you're frequently adjusting settings. That said, for the average user, it more than holds its own.

I replaced an older, smaller monitor with this one and was surprised d by how much thinner and lighter the Samsung is, despite the larger screen. The edge is impressively thin, especially where it’s most visible around the outer edge. I mounted it to the existing adjustable arm I had in place using the standard vesa threaded holes on the back of the monitor. In terms of connectivity it’s straightforward - hdmi1 and hdmi2. I have mixed feelings about the power cord. It’s not the standard 3-prong input but a barrel tip thin cable that goes to a power brick, which is connected to another cable going to the outlet. The nice part is that the cable actually connecting to the monitor is thinner and smaller, the bad part is it’s nonstandard and adds some cable clutter over one power cord. But it’s a minor nuisance as once you got it set up, it’s set up. I’m not super picky about the color and to my eye it looks good. If you are very specific about color then y you probably know enough to decide before buying if the specs meet your needs. If you are a general user all I can say is it looks great to me.

This is the new workbench monitor I got for setting up systems in the garage. I love the beautiful color it has on it. The only problem, and the reason for the 2-star loss, is there appears to be some dead pixels in the upper right corner. Like not a small amount. This is not a complete deal-breaker for me, since this is just for bench work, but still...not what I normally expect from Samsung. I am a huge fan of Samsung and have many tablets and smartphones from them. This was a let down.

This review is for "Samsung 27" S3 (S32GF) FHD High Resolution 120Hz Monitor with IPS Panel, Flicker Free, Eye Saver Mode, LS27F320GANXZA, 2025" Setup: This is a very slim and light monitor. It was very easy to set up the base with 2 screws (included) but you will need a good Philip screw driver, and then the bottom base you just twist the handle and tighten as far as possible. Connection: It came with a port cord and HDMI cord. it has 2 HDMI input capability Resolution and picture quality: I connected this monitor to my MacMini 2024 M4 and the picture quality really good. However I was disappointed that its maximum resolution did Not exceed 1980X1080 (but with an impressive 120 HZ refresh rate) versus my Dell monitor that I purchase a few month ago that was capable of a resolution of 3840x2160 at 60HZ. Conclusion: This is a decent 27" monitor for around $150 with an impressive refresh rate of 120 HZ. I think it's well worth the price considering that it's a know brand Samsung.
