This product is one of the most beautiful things I have ever bought. It gives me such pleasure to sit and relax and watch the fish. The only thing I do not like about it is the top. They put everything in the top so it's tucked away, and that is completely useless. You cannot put anything in the top because it makes it impossible to take the top off to add fish or anything else. When setting up the tank the depth of the tank is so deep that you can hardly reach the bottom which makes it extremely difficult for someone who's short. Thank God I'm 6 ft tall because I could just barely reach the bottom. For a fish tank it is one of the most beautiful fish tanks I've ever seen, everyone compliments about it and says it's just extremely awesome. Just wish they would do something about the top because everything that should be in the top cabinet, sits out on a side table. Other than that I guess the pros and cons are about the same. So if you're short I cannot recommend you buying this tank cuz you'll never fit stuff in it cuz you won't be able to reach the bottom!. ... show more

I'm a disabled Veteran and this tank does not represent anything easy or convenient. To add fish, clean the tank, clean the filter OR want to feed a specific fish so others don't eat the food, you have to take the entire tank apart! The company selling this, "PET SELECT", I wouldn't but a goldfish bowl from now. I had problems with the delivery and then had problems trying to return it!! So, I basically wasted $750 to find out that this tank sucks and the company that sold it only cares about getting their money!! ... show more

I watited 5 months for a review. I have 6 other tanks and 2 ponds. Over last 40 years, I have had over 30 tanks. I am an experienced fish hobbyist. This is the single most difficult tank I have ever had to clean and service. The set up is all wrong. It is unbelievably hard to change the water. The little box they have for holding all the elct units does not work. I cursed 5-6-7 times setting up the pump. And repeat it every time I clean the tank. PennPlax has to re-configure this. It is a stunning tank. This tank is only for devoted, experienced fish hobbyist. And then, patience. Forget that box for the electricals. Buy a 4 prong extension cord. And attached all your electricals to it. It makes it way easier. ... show more

Terrible product. It took me 3 weeks to have them send me a critical filtration piece and once they sent it to me and I finally got it set up after navigating the poor instruction manual. The tank broke from the bottom once the water reached about 90%, thus spilling out about 50 gallons onto my carpet. I had to call an emergency company to come out and dry my floors so there wasn't any permanent damage. Currently trying to have the seller reimburse me for the $1000 it cost me in repairs. Would never recommend or buy from them again. Just go to a local shop and work with a Profesional. It's much more worth it. ... show more

Not designed to store saltwater aquarium equipment, it would cost just as much to send back so I ended up keeping it but it the worst aquarium anyone could buy, very difficult to make water changes and has no storage

    • Very pretty all-in-one bow tank
It's a conversation starter and sure makes maintenance easier, besides how tall the tank actually is. There is few issues with the tank, but my main problem is finding any replacement parts or replacement for any of the equipment
