The media could not be loaded. I don't write many reviews but this product warrants one. This is made by Hodedah not by Pemberly. So if you really want this dresser check on both because depending on the time of year. One will be less expensive than the other. But they are in fact the same. I bought 2. Wholly cow they are massive! Love that. But The first one had a few pieces with dings, but nothing to crazy so I dealt with it. The first dresser came with no instructions, thankfully the second one did. Or I would have had to go searching online. And you DEFINATELY need instructions for this thing! Setup, after laying out all the pieces, and going through and assembling all the individual parts took about 3-4 hours. Final assembly took about 1 hour. Not the worst piece of furniture I have ever put together but on a time spent scale. Probably the longest. NOW, onto the second one. The top of the dresser was damaged. You can tell it most likely was damaged during shipping. As if someone had dropped it on the edge of the box. And with the way the top piece is designed. It caused the frame of the top to shift apart which in turn caused the laminate to bend and peel away from the wood. I contact the manufacture as directed in the instructions. Contacting them was extremely easy and after sending them a few photos I had a replacement out to me in roughly a week. If the replacement would have been good, I would have considered this a good buying experience. I would have given this a 4 or 5 star rating. But, unfortunately the replacement top was damaged as well. So we contacted them again and they apologized and shipped out a new top. The one we received this time was perfect, but it was white. Not Red Mahogany. Soo we contacted them again and they shipped out a replacement. Which we received yesterday. Right color this time but as the others before, it is damaged as well. So after I write this I will email them again. I understand that they cannot control what the shipping company does to the package during delivery, but there is obviously a design flaw here. I don't know if they need more nails to keep the parts in place to prevent the laminate peeling when the package is dropped. Or if they need more padding when sending out replacements. The replacements received so far were wrapped tightly in large sized bubble wrap which should have provided some resistant to drops.. But obviously not enough. ... show more

Easy to assemble, take your time putting it together and it will look and work nicely. The drawers close easy the cabinet door lined up perfectly. Would buy another one but couldn't find it again. So I bought the Hodeah version and it totally sucked.

Look, you can buy a better closet for that amount of price and I wish I had done it. But I decided, let me try. This closet looks pretty huge so I'm sure itll fit all my stuff which it did. Believe me. But it was horrible putting it together, the wood is like it's made out of paper and on the first day, the bottom just broke which was a joke. I spent almost 300 on a closet who wasnt capable of atleast holding it together. On top of it all, one closet doesnt close........like....Guys, SAVE your money. I didnt listen to the bad reviews and thought I'd try my own luck. Believe me, it will be better to look elsewhere ... show more

    • Came in damaged and not very well put together...

I got this item in on time, so there was that. However, when unpacking I discovered assembly chaos. The packages within were so beaten and scattered that I am astonished the fragile parts weren't shattered at any point. Several of the corners on the panels were either cracked, bent, or swollen from exposure to moister. I'm just glad it went together in the end, sans three or four of the necessary bolts and minifix nuts. And on that, the labeling of which part was which was shoddy. Half the time, I had to guess because the stickers/labels came off. I will say, despite the damages found with my product, I can at least use all but one piece of it. The cabinet door lock was completely impossible to use, as the bracer nut would not even begin to slide. All in all, very cheaply made, shipped, and handled. 2/5 would not recommend. ... show more

    • Beautiful but Cheap Parts and Not Easy to Assemble

We love the color and configuration of this dresser but...it is poorly built and some of the hardware is not adequate. The handles look deceptively sturdy and metal in the photo but they are the cheapest plastic I’ve ever seen. I’m going to replace them with metal handles myself. It took us ten hours and then we gave up and hired a Tasker on Task Rabbit to finish the job. He, a well experienced expert who has assembled literally thousands of these kinds of things, said it was poorly made. We will keep it now but I am expecting to have to replace it when it breaks down in the not too distant future. Ugh! ... show more

    • Some screws are missing

The wood quality is great, sadly several screws for the locks are missing. For what you are buying you would expect this item to come with everything in tact, and not have to take a trip to Home Depot.

The unit itself was very difficult to assemble. Customer service was amazingly easy and refreshing as there was an issue but the seller immediately contacted me and corrected the issue. Well done!
