I bought 3 of these. They are pressed particleboard but are pretty sturdy. I completely loaded the hanging rods with blouses and sweaters and it is holding up very well. The doors are a little wobbly but mainly because of the hinges provided but not a big deal. The handles were tricky to put on because the screw holes in the handles were not straight, so I had to force the screws in before installing just to make the holes right. Easy to put together. 1st one took about 45 min, the others about half hour each, and we were taking our time. I am happy with these, they look more high end than I had anticipated. The directions were very easy to follow which was a pleasant, unexpected experience. The materials would be similar to furniture bought at IKEA, IMO.     • Defective and disappointing!
On a positive note, it stores all my sewing and crafting that I was hoping to keep in the cabinet. It took my dad and me about three hours to build. It is the most UNSTURDY piece of furniture I’ve ever purchased. I had to hold the wall with pressure so dad could screw the doors in place. The holes for the screws are predrilled but mine are NOT EVEN. The handles are off by nearly an inch and the doors do not match up at the top. If I had seen this piece in person, there is no way I would have purchased it. It’s certainly not worth the price I paid. ... show more

Most wardrobes of this style are priced at around $4-600+ compared to this one...so that tells the story. You get exactly what you pay for. It works. It's heavy enough not to feel like it'll fall over. There's a hanging rod, drawers, and shelves. The instructions were clear. However, once put together, the doors are very flimsy, and do not close properly. The drawer pieces are a bit off their lines, which made the hardware attachments difficult to attach to roll smoothly. The overall quality of the "wood" (composite) isn't great, but again, expected for the price point. This is exactly how it's priced, a budget-friendly corner wardrobe that isn't going to be anyone's heirloom piece, but looks fine and keep your clothes off the floor. ... show more

    • Missing and Damaged Pieces

I purchased this cabinet to relieve some of my house office clutter. Not really intended as a show piece for any of house rooms. Although it appeared that the packing was very good quality there were two pieces damaged ... the center partition inside the cabinet had a 8 inch crack in the vinyl covering. I use some wood stain to hide the damage. I was fortunate that the damaged area would be hidden by the drawers. The other damaged piece was to the outside cabinet wall. It look like the piece was either dropped on a sharp corner or punctured with a pointed object. There's was really nothing I could do to repair this area. Once again I was fortunate this would be the side placed against a wall. So it would not be visible. The cabinet is not designed for heavy use or weighted storage. Most of the fasteners are light wood screws and your standard screw locks. The construction material is pretty light and clearly not designed for constant opening and closing operations. I would strongly suggest you take an inventory of all parts prior to assembly. My order was missing a package of finishing nails used to secure the bottom side of the two drawers. Luckily I had a similar jar of these nails in my shop. It takes about 90 mins to assemble. Directions are pretty easy to follow. I would suggest using wood cement or glue on all the joints. The pressed wood panels and doors will not sustain holding the screws and nails for any length of time. I have used this method on all my cabinets. Gluing the joints will keep your cabinet much more secure than relying on the screws and nails. Once assembled the cabinet looks nice. It fits my office decor. I would not recommend for children's room, it's just too light and could easily topple over. The cabinet does come with a small cable you can attach to a wall to avoid it tipping over. ... show more

This type of cabinet is exactly what I needed for extra Storage of light weight items. It will serve its purpose for my needs. It did arrive damaged in a few places that are not to noticeable , but one damage section is very noticeable right on the front door panel. That is disappointing not to notice until it out of the box and box has been taken to dumpster. Plus most of cabinet had been assembled. It is a great style cabinet . Very useful.
