I use these hooks in my bathroom to hold orchids. I water often in winter orchids in baskets (vandas and cattleyas). 80% hold just fine. But 20% fell, even with lighter plants. Be sure to wash the surface with 70% alcohol before applying hooks. I also washed the suction cup - that seems to help.
