Typical reliable Pelikan ink filled cartridges. Two 6-packs of black ink. These are the short cartridges. There seems to be some confusion, that the cartridges in Pelikan pens are loose, slip off the feed and leak. This is how we learned in school on how to place these correctly. and prevent the problems. Pelikan pens are designed to hold two short cartridges at the same time. One to provide ink, the other as a replacement. You put 2 at a time into the pen. One in the barrel of the pen, open end facing backwards and one in the front of the pen, opening toward the nib. Screw both pieces of the pen together and the second cartridge will help push the first cartridge onto the ink feed and helps to hold it securely. As usual, I‘m happy with the quality. ... show more
