I purchased this as an alternative to the industry standard rugged Otterbox brand. I wanted something different and stumbled upon the Pelican brand case. I am satisfied with the decision. 1 drawback is that the case is very slippery and being used to the rubber around the Otterbox, takes getting used to. With that it does slip in and out of the pocket with ease, doesn’t collect lint, and does come with a clip to further protect either the front screen or back camera, depending on which side you clip it on. It is definitely not on the bulky side, but is bigger than a lot of other cases. There is no built in screen protector and can accommodate a glass screen protector. It does have an authentic DuPont Kevlar backing which is really nice if you like the carbon fiber look. Installation is a breeze, as I switch cases often depending on the occasion as this is my work case. One thing to note is that it does carry a lifetime guarantee, but not through Pelican. Case-Mate is the actual manufacturer and honors the warranty only through authorized retailers ( As Amazon is). So far it is a solid case and the price is right. ... show more

Pelican i request you to make new models cases like you made for this one. just like those sweet round edges. carbon fibre back plate texture and those hec screws omg. BEST LAYOUT EVER GUYS PLEASE. i upgraded from my iphone 13 pro. but i miss that phone and SPECIALLY that CASE please make that kind of cases again. i dont like the new shape of the cases with that chopped off corners. ... show more

This phone case is amazing! Very durable. Hugs the phone and keeps it safe. It’s a little bit hard to get the case on, but once it’s on, it’s very sturdy. It fits the phone nicely. There’s no taint to the clear case, which is nice. The only reason I only gave 4 stars is because of the charger port. When I plug in my phone in the car, the part of the phone case for the charger port is pushed back, so now it doesn’t close into the charger port. This Pelican (now distributed by Case-Mate, but same great Pelican product) phone cover listed product is the real deal and not some knock-off. I've researched and tested a few rugged phone covers: If you're looking for a rugged phone cover that also doesn't add excessive bulk for the extra protection, this is it. Lots of good engineering went into this: It's well balanced, truly has hard (polycarbonate) outer and softer inner rubber composite for shock absorption. Only thing they could add is improving grip on the side, however I manage with this compared to other cases with more grippy sides I have. For something even more slim but rugged/grippy, look to UAG Monarch. But then you would compromise on screen bevel height protection and liquid/splash damage protection. ... show more

I was riding my bike when my phone came loose from the mount and hit the asphalt at 60 MPH and after it stopped tumbling it skidded face down for over 75 ft. When I got turn around and came back and found it. I just knew my 1 month old iPhone 13 was trashed. Instead the bluetooth hooked back up when I got in range and when I picked it up there was zero damaged to my phone and the Pelican case only had some superficial damage to the corners and skid marks on the front edges. I'm still using the Pelican and will always get pelican's for my phones. This is my 4th one (different phones) since I have been using them for 12 plus years. I'm rough on phones and the Pelican can take what I dish out. ... show more

It protected the phone very well until the hinge snaps wore out. In my opinion, they wore out very quickly for the price of this item. Good protection, but the juice was not worth the squeeze.
