This is a useful 120 feet of braided cover 7/16ths inch (11mm) nylon rope by a US company that specializes in arborist equipment. I wanted a long length of dependable, strong line that I could bet on for durability as well as quality. For tie downs, pulling and tree snubbing a better bull rope can't be had. This big 120 foot coil of rope has a recommended Tensile Strength of 5400 lbs. I note this is not a tow strap for vehicles - they typically go to 20000 lbs but are much shorter and have a completely different use. Although this is large and bulkier than a rock climber would use, for slopes and general tree use this is the right thing for me. The one spliced small eye (~14mm) is a well done long splice with a solid wrap together with the rope specs and maker's mark. I can easily put this into a bag the size of a gym bag and add it to my rig for when I need a long line with great strength I can trust . PELICAN include specific recommendations for proper rope handling and inspection. Arborists can trust their life to a top notch rope like this but good safe work practices are still essential. In turn, I Recommend this Pelican Rope Brand Pelican Rope Arborist-24 7/16 inch (11mm) with Spliced Eye Climbing Line - 5,400 lb Tensile Strength - 24-Strand - 120 ft. This rope is all I expected and more when you are looking at a product that can potentially be all that keeps you away from the ground below you want a quality product. And that's what you get with this the eye spliced in the rope itself was very well made along with the quality of the robe itself living on the coast there are a lot of rock faces over the ocean that is hard to safely traverse down this is a game changer. with the sharp edges of shale, I do a complete check of the rope after each use and I can tell you now I haven't found any wear on the rope where I'm remotely concerned. This is overall a very solid choice if you're looking for a good strong rope.

This is some great rope for climbing and tree felling. The 11mm is nice and thick and it feels much more secure. The rope itself is braided very well and the spliced eye is for sure one of the best I've seen from my entire rope collection. This is a very well made strong reliable rope. I used it the other day to climb up a tree and I would say I had zero problems making all kinds of knots and zero issues with the rope. I easily trusted myself with it. It is 120 feet long so a good skill to have is learning how to tie it up for storage. Good looping will extend the life of the rope and keep its properties in better condition. Again this is excellent rope defiantly worth the price.

Lately I’ve been doing more and more now hunting so I needed to put myself together a mobile hunting rig so I can do some saddle hunting instead of packing in a super heavy tree stand. This rope is great. It has plenty of flex and is easy to work with. I used to do a lot of logging back when I was younger and had to climb a lot of trees to cut the tops out. This rope is 10x better than the ropes I was using during that time. After becoming more experienced in what to look for in a rope I’m super happy and confident with this pelican rope. I would highly recommend this climbing rope.

I needed a longer rope for my emergency kit in my Jeep for when we are out on the trail. This is a full 120 feet of rope with a loop in one end. The rope is very pliable and has a good lay to it as I unrolled it and re rolled it to fit my rope bag. I really like the size ( diameter) of this as it lends itself to you being able to grip it with out any undue strain. I have needed a rope once due to a fall and did not have it , well now I am prepared and IF needed it will be there for me. I like this so well I think I will get me another as you just never know. Very happy with this and am glad I got it.
