This is my second case purchased here. Brand new as expected. Can’t go wrong with a Pelican Case. Use this for work to transport tools and equipment when flying. Best thing about this case is the depth. Most of the cases are not deep enough to carry other smaller tool cases when traveling.

I got this case for my 8” OTA. The multi-layered tear out foam allowed me to tier it enough to support its round frame and still have plenty of room for the detached finder scope and other supporting pieces. The Air series makes this thing manageable with how light it is.

    • Perfect protection with a single design flaw
Protected a PC for an entire cross country flight. Even the glass remained intact. Pelican is expensive but the box is a convenient size and very protective. The missing star is for a single reason. The extendable handle is laughably flimsy to the point I do not even dare using it with any weight in the case. For the price, I expected something much higher quality. The rest of the case though is superb to protect anything fragile or even as a camping box you can trust to withstand the elements. ... show more

It is perfect for traveling for work. I was able to fit my computer tower, peripherals, and some accessories in it. No problem at the airports and I like that you can secure it with a padlock. Would buy again or similar for other needs! It is also super convenient having the foam. I found the supplied ones were too thick to use and still fit everything, but the one on the bottom and top of the case were just right, and I put various bubble wrap inside to add extra protection to my gear. But the foam can probably be squished and tweaked to your needs. ... show more
