Durable for 18 months daily use

I purchased the large size, tan backpack, and used it daily as my purse for 18 months. For about 2-3 of those months I probably carried a different purse, but kept going back to this one. It's huge for a purse, but sometimes that's really nice. Often, I find that I have to remove stuff from my purse
before it's full- because I end up carrying too much extra stuff, add the bag becomes heavy- but it's still got space for more items. You know how it goes with a large purse! After 18 months of use, one small pea sized spot of the pleather has peeled off- right in the center of the small front pocket. I decided to replace it. Since the large size had extra space, and I tended to collect extra stuff/weight because it has that space, this time I ordered the medium size, in red. It's even better! I have put all of my usually every day items inside. There is still plenty of room in the main compartment to add more things when I want to carry more (like snacks, kindle, socks, and an small knitting project). I'll add that for the first month of use, I kind of hated how it felt to access the main compartment through the concealed back side. But I soon got used to it, and while I don't like having to take it off my back to open it up, I do prefer how easily it allows access once open, and I really love how it prevents someone from "picking my pocket" in the main compartment. I've also ordered the medium size, in black, in the nylon fabric (another, separate listing) because it's just the perfect everyday purse for me. Also, there's a kind of stinky smell inside at first, but it dissipates rapidly within the first few weeks of use. I am very sensitive to that kind of thing, but this doesn't bug me, because it fades fast enough.

Can carry EVERYTHING & THENSOME!!

I purchased this originally because I needed a bag that was safe & could carry everything that I need when I go out. Due to health issues, I travel in an electric Powerchair. I need a bag that has spots for a drink, my phone, umbrella, pens/markers, my wallet, a planner, a notebook (or 3 of various s
izes,) my blood kit for testing my blood sugar, a case with some medications, as well as an additional 1 for the small amount of makeup I sometimes wear, sunglasses, my cellphone, a charger, hard candy for when sugar drops too low, sometimes my Amazon Fire HD, & a black-paper sketchbook or small Mandela coloring book. As well as anything else I might need. This only changes during spring/summer &/or Fall/winter. I chose the Burgundy color because my 3 favorite colors are Crimson Red, Green and Purple. So the burgundy that is this one to me is brighter than most "wine-reds" for which burgundy would fall under. This is closer to the crimson color, that I love, in my opinion. When I received it, I immediately opened it, because I wanted to see if there was an obnoxious odor they way some reviewers claimed. It wasn't fishy or terribly off-putting but a quick spray of my essential oil room spray I make; fixed it right up. Now when I open it, I'm smelling tangerine & Cinnamon bark. It's VERY LARGE inside, I was sure to include as many pictures to show you the different items I might carry when I leave my apartment for doctors appointments. On those days, I take public transportation in the form of "TARPS" which is a smaller bus in length only that takes me to and from appointments. Which is the reason I need to carry medicine, a drink, an umbrella, a notebook for keeping track of important things from an appointment w/ a doctor but also something I can read, watch a show, listen to an audio book and/or create or color something fun AND ALL OF THAT needs to be with me when I leave my apartment. I could be at the location of my appointment for hours because I have to give TARPS 1.5 hrs of time ahead of my actual appointment w/ my doctor for travel (both ways.) I find that even if this purse is on my back when I'm doing very short distances with a cane, once it's on my back, it's a balanced weight and doesn't hurt my shoulders. Both of which have torn rotator cuffs & normally can't handle anything over 4lbs. But my purse on regular doctor days is definitely weighing more than that as you can tell. I usually carry my bag at my feet, sitting on the foot-plate. I love the security features, such as the bigger zipped space that can only be gotten to from the inside, where most people would have that facing their back. I feel doubly safe when I am strapping it to the back of my chair. Using a small bungee cable; it allows no one to try to steal it. Those days, I don't carry my cell in the outside pockets though. I ordered the burgundy color which is vegan leather and has been rained on & yet still looks brand new. I'm taking a vacation in November with family & friends so I will be purchasing the same brand but the smaller size and probably will purchase one in a more neutral color (black, brown or navy.) I want to carry just enough to attend dinner without having to constantly take out ALL THE EXTRA that I leave my house with normally. The neutral color will allow it to be paired with any outfit. I like to dress up, for a nice dinner without my bag jingling or looking like a small suitcase. Everything the company mentioned when describing this purse was, in my opinion completely true. It will hold everything you might want to carry, whether that is a lot or very little. (I will add to my review once i get the smaller size.) ~Brighest Blessings )O(

Great as a purse or travel backpack

I really like this purse. No surprises--it looks great and is comfortable. It's super hard to find a backpack purse that will fit a water bottle in the outside pockets. I'm In Love With This Bag ❤️

Light weight, sturdy bag. It fit 4 days of summer clothing in it! It was comfortable to wear during our travel. Zippers are made well. I felt secure with this bag and safe from pickpocketers! I highly recommend it!

I pack very light when I travel and this bag is great! I can fit 2 outfits and all my toiletries. When I get to my destination I unpack and use the bag as my day bag. It is perfect. I no longer have to worry about someone opening my bag in a crowded area since the zipper is on my back.

Perfect bag for traveling

Perfect cute mom bag or travel purse

I really am loving this backpack/ crossbody. I use it to carry my camera and all it's gadgets. The size is not crazy big, or way to small. It has lots of pockets to it organized. Love this except for the smell.
