Purchased this as a Christmas Present and upgrade from the 12V John Deere UTV. Amazon delivered it via a box truck, with a lift gate and two handlers. Box is huge and its heavy. It was packaged well and nothing was damaged. The assembly instructions consist of pictorials with translated steps elsewhere in the manual. Flipping back and forth from the images to written instructions was annoying. But, understandable given they sell into many markets. I added a bookmark to make that easier. Assembly took about 3-4 hours using mostly a drill and Philips bit. You will want to have short and long bit adapters to make assembly go more quickly. There is a separate hardware instruction sheet to identify which fasteners are used on each step. And instructions for where to apply the decals are in with the decals. After assembly, everything worked as it should. Radio and SD card slot (for K Pop Demon Hunters obviously) all work well. Power on/off button is a little flimsy. The lower seat covers are tricky to keep on. But, will stay put if you sandwich them under the seat before you screw the seats down. The soft start/stop of the motors is a great upgrade compared to standard ride on toys. Speed 1 is about as fast as John Deere UTV in speed 2. Speed 2 on this unit is pretty quick. Challenging for a 5-6 year old, but not enough to cause anything too scary. (Seat belts should be used). The tires grip well. Even on cold/wet asphalt and on hills. Light snow is a problematic. These are not cheap, but if your child will ride on uneven terrain and will put on a lot of miles, I think this unit is worth the money. what I dislike about it is that the seatbelt breaks so easily broke on the first day and I don’t think the battery last as long as it should for how much is cost

    • Missing parts
Product arrived via freight. When assembling noticed parts were missing. Came back to Amazon to see if I can get some support and it directed me to the Perego site. Which wasn’t helpful. Currently on the phone with perego support and it’s been about an hour….

Putting it together is kind of a pain. The instructions aren’t the greatest but there are also picture instructions which help out. The battery placement is under the passenger seat which takes removing screws and the seat it self. Some of the pieces were a bit more difficult to connect but once connected they stayed put. It goes pretty fast for my 7 year old but nothing crazy. I do wish for the price all the lights would work and lighted up dash board gauges. The rubber tires are great and keeps it quiet on the pavement like a electric golf cart. I do recommend getting a second battery right away. You will need it. Wish it was under $1,000 but no buyers remorse with this purchase. ... show more

We updated our first Peg Perego with this one because our son outgrew the previous one. The rep for the company said this was for ages 6-12 (our son was 7 at the time of purchase). He is now 8 and as you can see from the picture he barely fits in the truck. I would have never purchased this for this price point if I knew he could only use it for one year, or I would have purchased it when he was 4.
