  • Amazing
This Peg Perego John Deere front loader ride on tractor is so amazing. It was a gift for my little guy's second birthday. He loves everything about it. It took him very little practice to figure out how to drive it correctly and after a few times can steer, stop, start and park (in the shed) better than most licensed drivers on the roads!! The battery life is decent. If your little one loves it as much as mine, a back up battery comes in really handy. The quality is much better than I was expecting to be honest. The assembly wasn't much fun, but it rarely is. It was time consuming (couple hours) but I was admittedly spending a lot of that time getting little man off of it. It is large and takes up a good amount of space to store. We keep it in our shed to keep it dry, so I can't say what would happen if it's left out in the elements. So, in my opinion, worth every penny and then some. ... show more

  • but feel like there's so much information to share on this product ...
I rarely write reviews, but feel like there's so much information to share on this product that I had to write one. The good - this thing is tons of fun for my 3 year old. It works well and is easy/intuitive to learn how to use. It looks really good and the stickers are pretty realistic. I would highly recommend it for anyone with a kiddo that likes construction or farm equipment. One word of warning, the plastic tires sometimes have issues with grip. My son sometimes has to let his foot off the gas when it loses traction and hit the gas again - not big deal, just something to know about. The not so good - The instructions for this thing are AWFUL! It took my dad and I, who can assemble and fix all kinds of things, a LONG time to figure it out. There are no words on the instructions, only pictures, some of which make very little sense. Don't let this stop you from buying it, just beware that this thing might be frustrating to put together! This is a five star toy, just remember that it's a toy, not a high-quality piece of machinery. Great for kids! ... show more

  • Amazing! Amazing! The Beast!
We have 2 boys that have literally ridden these tractors until the wheels wore off!! That’s about 3 years of continuous use. We got the accessory bigger batteries so we could swap during charging’s. But all 4 batteries are still going strong, they tow huge loads that blow your mind in wagons, they sit against banks doing burnouts, pile 2-3 kids on one unit, I’ve caught the teenagers riding them! Worst I can say is the loader buckets didn’t last very long, but you can’t stop these otherwise! Definitely would buy again but now they have outgrown them, and we will give them to neighbors to continue the fun with these! ... show more

  • Missing Pieces, Customer Service was Helpful
I was missing a few pieces upon delivery, none that prevent my 4 year old from jumping right on a going. A couple of crossbars for the loader and the shift knob (only can go forward at one speed right now). Customer was very helpful and found the parts, waiting 5-7 days for replacement parts. Not that big of a deal but might be for someone else missing a more critical part. Assembly took approximately 1-1.5 hours. Probably would have taken less time but the instruction were not very specific (in terms of what screws go where). To elaborate, the instruction say "Attach seat with two screws" but the assembly comes with different sizes. Overall, good quality! Battery lasted approximately 3-3.5 hours, but hard to judge because my son was off and on it covering a period of about 6 hours. IF YOU BUY THE TRAILER FOR THIS DO NOT LET KIDS RIDE IN IT. Our younger son jumped in the back as soon as we put it on (Under the weight limit) and it did look very sturdy so I took him out. Good thing because it tips over very easy with any kind of load in it. ... show more

My daughter LOVES this tractor

  • Serious fun
I purchased this for our 2 1/2 year old grandson. While the assembly is not fun if you follow the directions it can be done.. The tractor is a great toy for the little ones to drive around and play. several items. It is a toy, a plastic toy. it is not going to and you shouldn't expect it to do anything but play. Again it is PLASTIC. It is a very inexpensive toy for a child to play on. Dont expect its bucket to dig dirt or do anything but place things in and drive around. It will wear out for I assure you it will be used a bunch for the little one really enjoy the time on it. He drives his John Deere along side his dad who has a full size John Deere 4052R ... show more

  • Cute tractor, beware of terrible instructions!
For what it is, it's a good little electric toy tractor. The speed is taking my son, 3 y/o, some getting used to, even though to us it seems really slow. He was a bit scared of it and trying to "multi-task" by steering or moving the bucket while driving. There is a bit faster setting as he gets older though, which I'll think he'll enjoy later. So first off, the instructions are AWFUL! My husband and I are very good at problem solving and putting things together, and this was a pain!! The instructions are really not as user friendly as I would've hoped for something my kid will be driving. The thing I dislike most is the hood operation. This thing is the biggest pain in the butt. It doesn't like to slide all the way back nor line up the way it should. I am half tempted to take the dumb thing off permanently, although I know this would not be a good idea. The battery life seems to be pretty good; we have some pretty steep hills for him to climb but it chugs along. The grip on the tires isn't the greatest for anything on grass or un-level surfaces, or snow. We have to nudge it along a bit sometimes. The front bucket really can't handle very much weight, and I notice it kinda moves down with just driving, nothing in it. It's a cute tractor and my son is really enjoying it more and more. I have him haul trash to the end of the road with me in his Peg Perego John Deere Stakeside Trailer, and it can handle 2 normal kitchen bags nicely. Think long and hard about your ability to assemble things and be prepared for some frustrations! Or hire someone to do it. ... show more
