We love this coffee and it deserves 5 stars for it’s flavor. However, the noted description of this particular order is actually inaccurate and very misleading. It notes that the order includes a ten count which, at $49.00, results in the noted “$4.99/count” notation. However, the order only includes 6 rather than 10 boxes, which actually comes out to an $8.32/count!! To avoid customer dissatisfaction, Amazon needs to better ensure that it’s venders include totally accurate and clear product descriptions.

If you’re like me, and your life is a roiling sham, and you are forced to drink decaf, then welcome to hell nerd! But what’s this? A decaf that not only tastes pretty much like regular, decent coffee...but allows me to indulge in my laziness by being conveniently packaged in a disposable pod? Sham no more! Now more like “my life is a mess that would make Snookie embarassed-but at least I still have coffee!” Worth it, tastes great, restores +1 self respect temporarily so drink up.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my earlier question about whether this decaf would meet my quest for the perfect strong, dark roast decaf. I've been drinking coffee for almost 70 years. Yes, as a good ole Louisiana baby, I drank 'cafe au lait' in my bottle.. I love strong, dark powerful coffee - strong to the point where the spoon can almost stand up in the cup! LOL! This one is very good but not quite the taste I'm looking for. It was flavorful, but in retrospect, I think the "house blend" is never a good option for me, on ANY brand of coffee. I used the smallest setting on my Keurig (as I do with all my K cups) and it was a decent cup of coffee. I limit myself to 2 cups in the morning, and make the 2nd one decaf, so I'm looking for that continued "punch" in Cup #2. I've been buying Tully's dark roast decaf and that one is really good. The last order I had was a bit weak, so I thought I'd try another brand. I've had the regular Peet's before and as I recall, I really liked it. It's always fun to try new things, and I'm glad I tried this one!

Once in a while I crave a cup of coffee when it is really too late in the day for caffeine. I've tried various bland decafs and decided to spend a little bit more and indulge in these Peet's decaf. Each cup is packed full of coffee and it is quite fresh. Taste is very subjective but I will say that this coffee is flavorful and is far, far from bland. You will taste the coffee, that is for sure. The coffee was packed 10 to a box. All pristine and unopened. Mine was sold and shipped by Amazon so perhaps that makes a difference in the purchasing experience. I'm happy I found this coffee.

This coffee is so good that when I serve it to friends they cannot believe that it's decaf. (Of course I don't tell them until after they are on their second cup.) It's strong and flavorful, more than any other decaf I have tried, strong without tasting bitter or burnt. It's tough to find it in stores but occasionally it will be available at one local grocery chain as a BOGO, but that is rare, so I stock up here on Amazon! I also purchase the Starbucks House Blend decaf, but honestly, the Peet's is better.

Peet's really does know coffee! I like a couple of their coffees, but this is THE Best Decaf I've ever had, k-cup or not. And for that I thank you! Please don't ever change anything about it - it's perfect. Actually tastes like a full flavored regular. With 1/2 & 1/2 it's smooth, somewhat chocolatey/mildly nutty with no bitterness and it's not weak or watery (I do use the strong button + the 10oz button on all my pods). With regular coffee I've only ever been a 1-2 cup morning drinker. With this Decaf though, I'm having one in the afternoon and another in the evening - it's that good.

I have to say I am really I am over the moon with this product! I love coffee just having high blood pressure my body is not a fan of it and most decaf I have have been very bland. I am a big fan of dark roast which does have sharp or bitter notes from roasting it longer. I had 2 cups yesterday within an hour and didn't have any spikes in my BP which is awesome. Slight tin taste to coffee and I haven't found how its decaffeinated yet - Chemical or Water but I am going to be buying lots more in the future. I will have to see if they make grinds because I use coffee as an alternative to salt for smoked BBQ.
