Quality: Pete’s espresso coffee is high quality with great taste. When brewed, you can smell the richness of the espresso. Taste: Pete’s brand has the same great taste if not better than other popular coffee shops. It’s a great choice to get the best tasting coffee at a better price. Decaf: I can’t drink caffeinated beverages anymore as I get older - Keeps me up all night. But I still want that espresso latte to wake me up in the morning and also to enjoy in the afternoons. I can make a “half-caff” in the morning (1 decaf capsule, 1 regular capsule) and a decaf in the afternoons!! Works out perfectly. ... show more

The coffee tastes just fine when the pod 'works' but at least half the time the capsule gets dented/crushed without piercing the foil on top. You think it's working, but end up with a cup of hot water and a pod that won't work in the Nespresso machine. It's never happened with one of the Nespresso pods. Update: I had particular problems with one box when I wrote this review. I finally went back to open the second box and have had no capsules collapse. I guess there was a bad batch. I've upped the review to 4 stars since the quality of the decaf coffee is really good - probably my favorite of the few options for Nespresso machines. ... show more

I inherited my mother's Nespresso machine, and we were really enjoying it, although not using it all that often. When our Keurig broke, we started using the Nespresso machine on a daily basis, and it became necessary to find a cheaper alternative to Nespresso pods. We are Sam's and Costco members, and even their prices weren't all that great. My preferred "off brand" of pods doesn't carry a lot of decaf in its bundles, and buying singular boxes isn't that cheap, so I was looking for well-priced decaf pods and came across these. I'm familiar enough with Peet's coffee that I figured it wasn't going to be bad. I have been very pleased with them, and they work very well with our machine (Breville Creatista Plus, if it matters). I am very happy to have enough decaf on hand to regularly have a cup of fancy coffee after dinner now! ... show more
