    • WHY SPEND MORE FOR SAME QUALITY?
I HAVE TRIED ALL THE GRAIN-FREE DRY DOG FOODS AS WELL AS THE REGULAR GRAIN-LOADED BRANDS INCLUDING PEDIGREE ADULT CHICKEN AND MEAT FLAVORS. MY HOUND KEPT DEVELOPING BAD YEAST INFECTIONS IN HIS EARS WITH THE GRAIN LOADED FOODS AND TO A LESSER EXTENT WITH THE GRAIN FREE/LOW GRAIN CONTENT BRANDS INCLUDING TASTE OF THE WILD, BLUE BUFFALO AND UNTAMED. I WOULD SAY THAT THIS HIGH-PROTEIN MIX APPEARS EQUIVALENT TO UNTAMED BUT AT ABOUT HALF THE PRICE. NO MORE EAR INFECTIONS (APPARENTLY RELATED TO ALLERGIES TO GLUTEN-LIKE SUBSTANCES) AND ALWAYS A BRIGHT SHINY COAT. MY HOUND LOVES THIS FOOD AND ALWAYS LICKS THE BOWL CLEAN. UNFORTUNATELY IT DOES SMELL HORRIBLE SO KEEP IN CLOSED CONTAINERS FOR YOUR BENEFIT. This is the best dog food EVER, no matter what flavor combination or whether dry or canned, chopped or chunks, this is what I feed them from the moment I adopted them from the shelter who sent them home with a Purina blend they wouldn't eat touch with a 25 ft. pole, I also LOVE that Pedigree is NEVER on anyone's recall list.     • Great product, but poor shipping method.
Overall, the product is good. My dogs seem to like the taste, but I was very disappointed with the way it was shipped. This was not put in a box, but was shipped as is. The outer cover was torn to shreds and had a hole in the inner bag which was taped up to keep the dog food from spilling out. (Who knows how much did spill out, because I didn't weigh it.)
