Loved the first one we bought so much that we bought the same one for our new second cat. Our 6 y/o, 12.5 pound cat enjoys this carrier while in hikes and camping trips with us. My cats normally run from their carrier, but they absolutely adore this one. Multiple, large openings make it easy to get them in, even if they're fighting me. It's a bit cumbersome to put on, which is to be expected, but it's comfortable to carry. The straps feel good and strong. No obvious flaws in construction or seams. The mesh windows zip up securely and won't open up on accident, and they provide a pretty good field of view for the cats. Great carrier at a great price point, highly recommend. ... show more

I’ve flown with my dog before but I had more of a duffle style pet bag, and it was awful. I decided to try a backpack style this time and this was perfect! Made travel so easy. It’s a good size for the price. I was able to layer puppy pads in the bottom just in case which makes it easy to keep clean. Straps were super comfortable for a full day of travel. I will say, it did not fit under the aisle seats on southwest, they are just a little narrow. Fit under all other seats just fine! ... show more

The size is great for my 5lb chihuahua she has plenty of room to laydown comfortably even when the extension part is folded away. Material feels very study, easy to clean, not too heavy, but after caring it for a while it does get tiresome. Plus you can fold it up to put it away.

Got this for my 9lb female shy cat. She doesn't necessarily like going outside but I got her this to ease into this activity. After walking for a bit she calmed down and was able lie on her side in the backpack. I leave it out when not in use and she goes into it from time to time. This is also great to tote her around. I love this backpack for my cats. We take our cats camping and hiking so we needed something that would hold up to the test. We bought two one for each cat and this backpack is reinforced and holds their weight well. We've had it for almost a year now and it hasn't sagged or deformed in any way, unlike another brand we bought. My only wish is that it had more utility in the pockets and that the seller would also sell replacement boards and covers for the bottom insert since those can get dirty and wearout overtime even with washing. ... show more
