  • The Best Buy, For a small buck.
It’s definitely a very reliable piece of equipment. Like any other device we purchase there are pros and cons. Personally Owning for a short time I’ll speak of both. The only con I’ve came into is that I anticipated receiving 2 ac chargers for the device and it came with 1. I’m sure if I had done more reading I would have discovered that they only offered one with the purchase. But I was too excited for my purchase and thought that I researched enough. It charges fully from 7% battery remaining in 3hours 39 minutes with 1 charging cord which is over all still great. Another con being it is a little heavier than some other products that produce the same outputs but their are high strength handles incorporated that makes carrying less strain. If weight is a problem to you, you can purchase the trolly dolly cart from pecron for a few dollars more and eliminate that stress. Pros. There are many. The external battery adaptions are the greatest for storage and resource. Also having external covers for each plug-in makes it that much more quality than many other brands. The display functions are actually very impressive and accurate. Displaying all progressions from outputs & remainings just makes it a little cooler than other brands because they went the extra mile for infos & satisfaction. The Designing of the pecrons are pretty cool and surely well/ rugged built. I’ve dabbled with many different solar generators & will say that any one that you purchase is extremely quiet no matter the brand, as is the pecron very silent and unaware it’s operating without viewing the display. It’s rated for 2000 watts ac outlet and I managed to run my 2200watt space heater without it kicking the breaker which surprised me an was very impressive. An over all a high quality impressive device. What drew me in is their pricing. What good is a solar generator if you do not have extra battery storage? If the machine is empty than you must wait for a recharge. If that’s the case stick with gas generators if needed for full time daily use. But that’s why pecron has taken that into consideration and came up with great solutions and allows external battery plug-ins to store extra working hours for the devices battery capacity. Bluetti came up with the same solutions. Which are why the bluetti is a phenomenal brand that I use often. But it’s just way too over priced and inconsiderate to a working man’s wallet. But pecron? They are half of the price with the same specifications all around. That’s because they’re a not so much known familiar brand compared to bluetti- but just give that time. I’d say this is your best bust. Done much of the research and very familiar with the markets and production devices. I’ll be depleting my bluetti products and going all green with the pecron industry. Get involved now and make the purchase because I can assure you in time their price will be raised also and you will have snagged super great deals. I personally use the E2000LFP and it is an outstanding product. 10/10 for me. ... show more

  • The absolute best value for the money. Just add a solar panel to make it pay for itself.
I love my Pecron E2000LFP(s)! Everything has been great with them. All functions work well and as advertised. The MPPT inputs, the inverter, the DC outputs, everything works perfectly. Having everything built into one portable unit is spectacular! I bought 2 so far. I have been using them both as full time backup for medical devices; ventilators and oxygen concentrators, and more. We have 3 people on sleep machines here, and I sleep better at night knowing that we won't wake up suffocating if we lose power. It has no problem running both CPAPs and my BiPAP overnight, even with all the humidifiers turned on, with about 1/2 the battery left over. I have a 655 watt solar panel hooked up, and use the included 600 watt AC charger on rainy days. Having dual 600 watt MPPT inputs lets me just leave both hooked up all the time, and I just put a switch on the charger AC cord. I use an auto transfer switch to run everything off the Pecron inverter output during the sunny times of year with the house power as backup in case I run the battery out, and then reverse the transfer switch inputs to house as primary and Pecron as backup during the winter. I have the added benefit of saving about $10 a month on my power bill during the summer. It is paying itself back to me. I even run my window air conditioner in my room off the Pecron during the summer when the sun is out. The inverter has no problem with my 5,000 BTU window unit. During the winter, the solar more than keeps up with the inverter stand-by power discharge of the battery. I have lost power a surprising amount of times for living in a city, and this device really helps me to not worry about it. I bought a second one for my elderly father. It is always on as a charge-through setup for his BiPAP and O2 concentrator. The O2 Concentrator uses so much power that it will only last about 4.5 hours if they lose power, but that is enough time to switch to an Oxygen tank or to start up the gas generator. I plan to buy at least 1 expansion battery so that there will be enough backup to last overnight for him. The Pecron is not light, but it is not so heavy that it is difficult to move. It is high capacity and still small enough for one peron to be able to move it around. We set it up in my Dad's RV when they travelled and camped last summer. Durabillity is good, it survived the trips just fine. The E2000LFP does not have true UPS mode, so if you draw more than your charging power it will run dead eventually. There are other models that have that function if you must have it. But if you draw less than the included 600 watt charger, it will just keep the battery charged. I did have an issue with the Pecron inverter making a little RFI noise that my ham radio received on 80 meters HF. A few clamp on ferrite beads on the extension cords plugged into the Pecron took care of it. All inverters do this to varying amounts, so I do not really think it is a big deal, and clamp on ferrite beads are cheap. I have been using the E2000LFPs non-stop since I bought them with no issues with the main units. I did have a fan on one of the chargers start to make noise like it was going out, and their customer service very promptly sent me a replacement. Thanks again, Kein! I absolutely recommend Pecron. Best bang-for-your-buck that you can get. Just add some solar and it will pay for itself. ... show more

  • IMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE!
The media could not be loaded. Unit ran a 6.1A Fridge for 24 hours and still had 23% juice left. I bought this in anticipation of the power outages we normally get due to high winds. We wanted a unit that would power one of our refrigerators for last at least 24 hours. It was a 6.1A fridge which, if the compressor was running at 100%, would consume around 700w per hour. Refrigerators normally don’t run at a 100% so I calculated that the compressor probably kicks in once every hour between 5-10 minutes at a time to maintain the temperature inside the fridge. In addition, the battery would also consume energy converting the energy from the cells in AC. That said, I figured that a 2000wh unit would be sufficient but was a bit skeptical. The Pecron has been impressive. Not only was it cheaper than most other battery packs with the same battery capacity but it is also relatively compact and the build quality of the unit itselft is very robust. No chintzy plastics, rubberized handles and some very nice quality of life features such as having ALL the necessary ports up front. Want to charge the unit, the charging port is up front. The only ports that aren’t up front are the expansion ports. This unit was well laid out. Noise. It’s VERY Quiet. You can likely put this in a bedroom and only the lightest of sleepers would be bothered (maybe). The weight is evenly distributed which makes it very easy to carry. The only con I have is that it doesn’t charge as quickly as other units advertise. This charges in less than 4 hours when others boast 1.5 to 2hr charge times. I’m not sweating it because if I need faster charging, I can get an extra AC Adapter. If you’re considering buying a backup battery, I can’t recommend this enough. I am now a huge fan of Pecron! ... show more
