Best Bang For Your Buck

One word. Great !! Take your time putting the wheels on the dolly so you don't cross thread. I had to slightly ream out the holes in the brackets that mounts the battery to the trolly. (The holes didn't quite line up) still having trouble connecting to the app. Other than those minor things, it runs my cabin just fine. It was very well packaged. It handles the coffee maker, the fridge and the 12000 BTU inverter air conditioner just fine. I have the F5000LFP with two batteries. ... show more

Got this on 7/22 and loved everything it could do. My whole work station was working through this and the 5 days after, the solar charge controller sparked fire. I have a total of 1640 watts in series and parallel with Voc: 90.74V,Imp: 21.78A. Pecron support told me that 90.74v is greater than their max input of 180v. Now beware that you can’t return it once you receive it . I am hoping they will replace it. Will update this later ——-Update—- I received a replacement and I must say it’s been a workhorse. It’s powering half of my home and also charging my EV. I do turn on the portable AC upstairs on. I am going to get an expansion battery. I must say that when it gets to 100% solar input stops until its battery depletes to 90%. Don’t panic. ... show more

Hardware nice. Unfortunately ..

UPDATE 8/14/26: Seems tech support never thought to ask about the alarm logs, which had the info that the inverter was not functioning. So they are sending me a replacement unit, when they get them back in stock that is. This was such a promising beast! Entirely and exactly what I wanted UNFORTUNATELY IT DOESN'T WORK More accurately it works great for a few hours and then stops. Ports are active but no current flow. Tech Support, available from China at 1 am, has pushed 2 software updates so far, to no avail. There is a languaging problem too. ... show more

The app….Now the product
Style: F5000LFP
Recieved my replacement Aug 17 and everything is working great! 7 weeks is a bit long but it’s done and I’m happy. Update the F5000 is not seeing the extra battery. It’s been 48 hours since I sent in a request and now have to wait over the weekend. Received the product in good working order. Trying to register for the app. At first an error that said iCloud.com domain didn’t exist. Yes I selected correct country. During registration you have to request 2FA code. At first internal error Saturday. Now this morning Sunday I had to request 4 codes and one finally worked. Got an account registered feedback in the app. Go to login my email doesn’t exist. Same email I used to register warranty. Not a good start I’m taking off 2 stars. I’ll update when my solar panels arrive. July 5th I noticed the F5000-48 wasn’t showing on the display. Went through trouble shooting. At first PECRON thought it was the main unit. On July 23rd I received a shipping label for the battery. Box is going out on the 24th. I’ll update as this continues. ... show more

Bang for the buck BEAST!
Style: F5000LFP
What an absolute beast for the money! Love the decent higher voltage solar hookups, love the 140/240v output (this monster will run everything I plugged into it in my house I tried.. washer, dryer, dishwasher) everything but my big house A/C and that might even go with soft start wired on it. App could use some polishing but is functional, lots of functionality in the menus you can configure which is actually refreshing how much you can from the unit itself without the app. I actually like that you configure the automations, charge limits, pv vs AC charge preference and other variables directly from the menu vs an app. It moves around pretty easily once you get it mounted on the included stand with wheels making it easy to move around in a reliable way . But... Be warned it's pretty heavy and for most people going to require two people (the unit is around 130lbs). It does include handles on both sides making it significantly easier to use for two people to lift it up. If your on the fence, hop off this is an absolute bang for the buck beast! ... show more
