Inflation and deflation are straightforward with the Boston valve, and the tube fills evenly without looking warped or awkward. On the water, the biggest strength is stability. It has a planted, predictable feel behind the boat, especially compared with tubes that get squirrelly on moderate turns or wake crossings. It still gives you a fun ride, but it does not feel like it is trying to launch everyone into orbit every time the boat turns.
