This is a review of the Peak Design Wash Pouch. Overall, I rate it a 4.9 out of 5.0 stars. It is my favorite larger dopp kit. Likes: 1. Just the right size and organization for traveling with my two kids, and it fits my Sonicare electric toothbrush (without the head connected. 2. Smart design that keeps everything organized the way I like it. I use one side to hold my Gravel TSA pouch with my liquids (3 Humangear GoToobs with shampoo, bodywash, handsoap; travel size toothpaste). The center has my Sonicare in the middle flap, some wipes in the slots, floss picks in another slot, and nail clippers in the zippered pocket. On the other side I have small tissue pack in one organizer pocket, a travel pack of Qtips in the middle organizer pocket, and a small first aid pack in the third organizer pocket. Sitting outside of the oranizer pockets on that side my smaller Scrubba laundry bag (use this instead of hand washing my clothes in a dirty sink). Small outer zipper holds two heads of the Sonicare brush. 3. Quality materials and craftsmanship. I was impressed from the moment I received it. I prefer things made of nylon as opposed to polyester when available. 4. Lifetime warranty is great. Dislikes: 1. Small, picky issue is that while closed, it does sit quite flat. It has not rolled over, but just wish it was a little more secure. Most people would probably not be bothered by this. This is my favorite large-sized wash pouch. Before this, I had a large Gravel Dopp Kit, which I also like very much, but did not like it opened all the way in the longest side, which made it take up a larger footprint. My wife has taken over the Gravel as she likes the multitude of zippered pockets. For smaller or medium-sized dopp kits, I love the Aer Dopp Kit 2, which is being phased out for the 3rd version, which appears to have less pockets, which is disappointing. Although this bag is identified as a product for women, I'm not sure why that is except as a matter of advertising, because in fact it is practical for typical items used by persons of any gender. The bag is light, and divided into multiple compartments, which is useful for a trip of more than a few days. The zippers and fabric seem strong and unlikely to break or tear any day soon. The one downside might be the odd-shaped little hook that can be pulled out of an external pocket but is not designed well to hook on most rods or handles. In fact, I don't need to hang my toiletry case, and I'm not sure many people would store a case in that way (I can also imagine exceptions). Not to say that the hook is not usable, but for me it was unnecessary, and if it must be included it should have been designed with a larger angle so it could be used more readily. ... show more

I wanted to wait until I had traveled with this pouch to write my review, and it did not disappoint! We stayed in a small place with a bathroom the size of a cruise ship bathroom, and this pouch was great for keeping everything tidy and organized. It’s design allows me to see everything inside at a glance, so there’s no hunting for little bits at the bottom of the bag or pulling everything out to find one item. Bulkiness is the only downside - it has a large-ish footprint (especially in a carry-on bag), so that plus needing to have a separate liquids bag when flying does eat up a bit of space for toiletries. However, I could also squeeze my pared-down makeup kit in here as well if I had to, so that’s a plus. (This trip was a car trip with a duffel bag so I didn’t have to pack as carefully as when flying.) Love that it’s water resistant so it won’t get soaked on a wet countertop. The hanging hook was helpful and I can get to everything easily when it’s hanging. There are TONS of small compartments and pockets to keep all the small bits organized. Overall I am very pleased with the design and functionality of this pouch, and while it’s priced higher than an average toiletry kit, for me the workmanship, materials and functionality make the price definitely worth it. This is a nicely designed very practical modern day version of the original DOP kit - with a stylish design element as well as just the right number of zippers, pockets and compartments to keep everything secure and separated. It is a bit pricey but an incredible quality product

As usual Peak Design products offer superb organization as well as look really good. However, the biggest issue I see, and something I've seen in other of their products, are the zippers used. Unfortunately, they aren't using YKK zippers, but some generic ones. Once the zippers break, any bag becomes useless, and from experience, I only trust in YKK zippers. ... show more

Love Peak Design products made for my camera so I thought I'd give this toiletry bag a shot since I needed to replace mine for travel. I must say a lot of thought has definitely been put into the pockets and layout, including the built in hanger to hang it somewhere in the bathroom in case you don't have enough sink space.
