Great quality bag
ONE YEAR UPDATE: This bag has been fantastic. I have used it fairly heavily as my primary bag for most of the year and it shows absolutely no signs of wear. It holds up well in the rain and I haven't had any issues with water seeping through the bag. I don't typically load down the bag as much as shown in these pictures as it can be a little difficult to remove the iPad, but it is capable if I need to load it down for a cross-country trip or a photo shoot. I usually don't put more than a couple of writing implements in the front pocket as the bulge is a little unflattering and makes it slightly harder to open the main zipper as wide it can go. One unforeseen use case that was very convenient is how easy it is to partially unclip the strap. The strap is the perfect width to hold the handle of a skinny hydroflask bottle. The way the bottle dangled from the bag was quite comfortable. I have no regrets purchasing this bag and it is my go-to choice for carrying around my tech. ORIGINAL REVIEW: My first impressions of the bag are quite high. I was looking for a bag that fit a few main criteria which has been quite a challenge. 1: bag must be able to hold my ipad pro 11in in its logitech combo touch case comfortably. This has been the biggest limiting factor in my search. (Its a little snug but successful though there are some layout limitations that I will get into) 2: bag must have space for my ef-s 55-250mm telephoto, viltrox f1.4 23mm prime, 15-45mm kit lens, and my m50 mkii camera body. Also it should be able to carry a few extra batteries and an external power bank 3: the bag must be able to hold my camera with any of these lenses attached to it comfortably and must still allow access to my ipad. (Having the telephoto on the camera is a bit of a tight zip, but as I use that lens the least I gave it a pass on this front) 4: bag shouldnt bulge at the zipper like my previous tech bag did 5: bag must be comfortable, must be a sling bag, must be as small as possible, and must facilitate an easy lens swapping experience. The idea is to be as light, small, and comfortable as possible while still carrying around extra lenses. (This bag is even smaller than my current tech bag sling and is better suited for holding lenses) 6: bag must look good and not be an eyesore. If I'm going to daily drive it I don't want to settle. Though functionality still takes priority. … After an hour of experimenting with layouts I think I got it to work (almost) perfectly. The main setback I had was the ipad and the shelves. I wanted to use the separators in shelf mode but when using the shelves at the edge of the bag it would make it harder to zip and make it almost impossible to insert and remove the ipad. A mirrorless camera with a lens attached was really hard to zip in this orientation. The shelves are just too ridged and dont give enough leeway for an 11inch tablet. So I had to settle with using a small lens bag for which ever smaller lens I wasn’t using at the time and using an unfolded separator for my telephoto or stacked smaller lens combo. Underneath the telephoto I still have space for a generic rain cover for extra security. The orientation pictured allows for fairly easy leeway for my gear in every orientation (except the telephoto on the body which works but is a little snug on the zipper). I have quick access to everything. I also like the the bag has 2 slots for the quick release clip if I ever decided I didnt want to mount my camera on my belt for whatever reason. It also has detachable loops for a tripod that fit snugly in the flexible side pockets near the zipper. After giving it a try around DC and at Niagara Falls in the coming weeks I will update this review with its usability when out and about. The initial tests Ive done so far show promise.

Outstanding Sling for Travel and Photography – Peak Design Does It Again!
Size: 10L
Color: Ash
As a Peak Design fan, I already own their travel tripod and everyday backpack, and both are absolute benchmarks of quality, functionality, and durability. When I decided to purchase the Peak Design Everyday Sling 10L in Ash, I had sky-high expectations, and it completely delivered, exceeding my every need and proving once again why this brand is a favorite among creatives and travelers alike. I recently used the sling as my carry-on for a 9-day trip to Canada to photograph the northern lights. To call it a game-changer would be an understatement. I packed it with my Nikon Z8 with a 24mm lens attached, an 85mm lens, several batteries, a memory card case, chargers, my 11-inch iPad Pro with a keypad, and a few additional items like a lens cleaner and cables—and there was still room to spare! The thoughtful design and spacious yet compact layout made packing incredibly easy and efficient. Performance Under Extreme Conditions This bag endured some of the harshest conditions imaginable—-30°C weather, snow, and rugged travel challenges—yet my gear remained safe, dry, and perfectly protected throughout. The materials are nothing short of phenomenal. The exterior has a premium feel, and its high-quality waterproofing completely lived up to its claims. Snow, dirt, and moisture didn’t stand a chance. Everything simply wiped off the surface with ease, leaving the bag looking pristine. Even after heavy use in extreme conditions, the bag looks brand new post-trip, without a single scuff, fray, or sign of wear. The durability is incredible, which is a testament to the thoughtful craftsmanship and premium materials Peak Design uses. High-Quality Feel and Thoughtful Design From the moment I unboxed the Everyday Sling, I could feel the level of attention and care put into this product. The zippers are smooth yet sturdy, the straps are adjustable and well-padded for long-term comfort, and the interior dividers are easy to reposition and offer just the right amount of structure for organizing gear. Every detail, from the soft yet durable lining inside to the sleek exterior, exudes quality. Practicality and Comfort Using the sling as my daily carry in Canada was an absolute joy. I didn’t have to lug around a bulky backpack, and the sling design made it easy to access my gear quickly and efficiently. The compact profile allowed me to navigate tight spaces with ease, whether I was hiking in snow or sitting in a crowded airport. The comfort factor is another area where this bag shines. Even when fully loaded, the sling felt well-balanced and secure. The padded strap is a standout feature—it’s adjustable, ergonomic, and doesn’t dig into your shoulder, even after hours of wear. For someone who wore it daily during an active trip, this comfort was a game-changer. Versatile and Durable for All Uses One unexpected feature that truly impressed me is the bag’s versatility. I used it primarily as a camera bag during my trip, but the Everyday Sling is so well-designed that I’ll be using it for casual outings and even as a compact work bag. The built-in weather resistance, easy-to-clean exterior, and organizational features make it adaptable for virtually any need. If you’re looking for a smaller alternative to a traditional backpack that doesn’t sacrifice durability, functionality, or quality, the Peak Design Everyday Sling 10L is the perfect choice. Whether you’re a photographer, a traveler, or someone who just wants a versatile, high-quality bag, this sling is an investment you won’t regret. Peak Design has once again raised the bar for what a gear bag can be, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Nice crossbody of just the right size
Size: 3L
Color: Black
I have both this size (small) and the next one up (medium). This size is perfect for everyday small items but it will not fit an iPad (maybe OK for the mini). Wallet, sunglasses, pills, etc. all fit well. There are no internal compartments so you may want to use a small zippered pouch so items are not loose inside and are easier to find. If you want something flat or with internal partitions, this is not the bag. Also the external zippered compartment is tight and even an iPhone is hard to fit there. On the other hand, this bag will fit inside your backpack if you need to consolidate carry on items. Overall a nice-looking bag made with nice materials and good quality.

A bit small for Canon EOS R
Let me start off by saying that this is a wonderfully designed bag. All the youtube reviews are correct in saying that the build quality is top-notch. I do not worry about my gear when they are stored away in the bag. Best of all it doesn't fall over when its put on the ground. However, I'm afraid the 6L version is a bit too small for an eos R set up.. well at-least my eos R set up. My gear I want inside the 6L : Canon Eos R + control ring adapter + EF 16-35 2.8 ii. An extra lens, maybe a large prime or EF 24-70 2.8. an extra SD card and Battery My main lens is the EF 16-35mm, and there is no way for the 6L to close while holding a Canon Eos R vertically (the lens facing the ground) with the adapter and 16-35 attached. I can insert it horizontally, but then it takes up the entire space leaving no room for an extra lens, not even a pancake. Basically, the 6L is big enough for 2 full-frame zoom lenses (excluding the 70-200). Or 1 zoom lens, and a Canon Eos R + control ring adapter + a small prime (24mm or 50mm 1.8, not the 1.2. The 1.4 would be really tight). I did carry it this way for several days, but like I mentioned my main lens is the 16-35. So it was very painful constantly switching lenses every time I took the camera out of the bag. I was able to fit the Eos R +adapter+ 24-70mm 2.8 vertically into the bag, leaving me space to put in the 16-35 2.8 ii.....BUT... I was barely (and I mean BARELY) able to close the zippers. Side note: I used to be a cobbler for nearly a decade, repairing/remaking expensive leather goods (such as LV bags/shoes). And I have to say I'm very impressed with the zippers. When I fit the eos R (with the 24-70 attached) vertically into the 6L and closed it, I was 99% sure that the zippers would bust open, but it held up well. But I wouldn't recommend stressing the zippers like this every day. Not only does it stress the zippers, but it also crinkles the rubber around the zipper making ugly creeses. In conclusion: I wish they made this bag 1/2 inch taller. That way I could carry 2 out of the 3 holy trinity lenses+ a Canon Eos R. Heck, if Peak Design made the 6L 1/2 inch taller, I could carry all three holy trinities + Eos R by utilizing the Capture Clip. I decided to opt for the 10L. and I love it. I can attach any zoom lens (excluding EF 70-200, the RF would fit) to the Eos R and fit it vertically into the bag, leaving me with 2 extra compartments big enough for 2 extra zoom lenses. But ... the size of the 6L was just perfect for everyday carry, the 10L is a hair too big. Its a shame, that 1/2 inch could've made the 6L perfect for my use.

The ultimate sling bag!
Size: 10L
Color: Ash
I’ve been using Peak Design’s sling bag for a while now. Besides its clean and sleek look, the interior layout is incredibly practical. The 10L capacity is massive—it easily fits my camera body and 3 to 4 lenses every time, with plenty of room left for filter accessories. Even though my old one is still holding up, the zippers have gotten really tight and the metal buckles are starting to oxidize. So, I grabbed another one during this sale. Super happy with it!

Really hard to get camera out of bag
Size: 6L
Color: Black
Opening of the bag is really tight and it becomes very tough to pull out the camera. Kind of regret buying this one. Otherwise the camera bag is extremely good quality. And it is comfortable to wear. I just wish the opening was wider or easier to open.

Excellent quality
Size: 10L
Color: Ash
Excellent quality and extremely well made. Perfect for my Nikon Z50ii camera, accessories, and two lenses. I've had the 6 liter version for several years and just needed a slightly larger version. Several pockets that are perfectly sized for spare batteries and other necessities.

Excellent for smaller travel camera. If you need more than one lens probably not a good fit.
Size: 3L
Color: Black
I took this bag with my Sony A6700 and a sigma 18-55mm lens and it worked great. If you need a telephoto lens this probably won’t work for you. But for street photography and portraits family gathering this bag is nice and compact. I put extra batteries and a filters and an extra Sd card. The bag is very well constructed and the zippers feel almost weatherproof. I don’t think a full frame will fit in this bag.
