I have the original Peak Design 20L Everyday Backpack with I use for my camera gear and extra stuff on extended trips, but wanted something a little smaller for local trips. The Zip 15L fits the bill. I can put my FujiFilm camera, two telephoto lenses, a 12mm wide angle and 30mm lens in the lower two-thirds of the pack and have space for odds and ends in the upper third. But I found that the side pockets are too tight as I can barely insert my thinnest water bottle into one of them. Maybe they will loosen up with time, but brand-new, they're too tight to be very useful.

Compact design, decent build quality. Inserts to store camera and related accessories. The compartment to store the laptop and ipad is too tight, it is extremely difficult to get the device in and out of the compartment. Overall the design could have been much better.

Almost perfect. Though it's not a lightweight bag (almost 1.3 kg empty with dividers) - it protects your gear, is very compact, sleek and flexible. I carry Canon R8 + RF24-105/f4 + RF70-200/f4 + RF50/f1.8 and there is still plenty of space left. Except for weight, it's 10/10

PD promotes itself as a brash, clever, youthful San Fran start up (bordering on arrogance). Just check their website. Unfortunately, their 15L bag with all its supposed clever bells and whistles does not live up to the hype. Specifically, the internal dividers and walls are not well padded so your delicate optical / electronics equipment bang around loosely. The shoulder straps are very stiff with little padding and are uncomfortable to wear. The sternum strap cannot be adjusted up/down and I couldn't get to fit me comfortably. Finally, the zippers developed in-house are too stiff and require high effort to open or close. PD charges a premium price, so I expected premium functionality, but not in this instance. I returned and bought the Besnfoto small backpack at half the price and am satisfied.

The 15L easily fits as a personal item! Yay! Love the zipper design and how it doesn’t look like an obvious camera bag. Love the external loops…so many options to hook things. My only issues are: - Needs an internal loop for hooking keys/airpods /fidget toy. - The brown top handle is too large and gets in the way of the laptop compartment. - The chest strap would be better if it wasn’t a sliding clip adapter thing. But it’s unique. - The included key strap is too long.

Love the 15l but I wish I got a bigger one instead. Great bag very well thought out I will be buying from peak design more often. Easy ONE HANDED operation and zippers that never get caught or snagged once you use this bag you will find just how spoiled you will get when you pick up another bag that gets caught on the corner or dare I say requires 2 HANDS!!!
