I know there's a lot of bad reviews for this headset. But I've been using it for over a year and works great. I mean it's $7.50 what do you really expect? It's comfortable much more comfortable then the Turtle Beach one ear headset I bought which was so uncomfortable it was unusable. Allows me to talk to my friends and they can hear me just fine. It's chat only tell if you want to hear the game sounds in your headset this isn't the one for you. Right out of the box, this had very weak sound, could barely hear chat partners. The small earpiece side dug painfully into my ear and just got worse while gaming, not tolerable. No adjustments or settings fixed either of these things. Returned. Don’t bother buying these. What I really wanted was the original Xbox chat headset, which amazon does not sell anymore, ended up getting one on eBay. This worked great. My original one lasted a long time. Amazon should sell those again but maybe they are being phased out. Too bad, because sometimes you just want a simple headset, not a giant one. ... show more

It turns out 13 bucks isn't a "great deal." when you get this flimsy piece of plastic you'll agree it would be criminal to charge a dollar more. So I guess it's unfair to bash this further and say everything "works" it's just extremely underwhelming. In a pinch it gets the job done but you might just wanna shell out a few more bills and upgrade to something better. ... show more

Good fit and basic function. Like my other one eared set, you only get your chat via this set, no game sounds. I am still hunting for an ultralight set that does both, as the average stero sets hurt my ears with the weight resting on them.
