PC-Lumber is a hand moldable putty epoxy designed for quick emergency-type repairs. PC-Lumber is formulated with real wood. Cut, mix and apply. PC-Lumber allows a working time of about 15 minutes and cures for service in 60 minutes. PC- lumber will not bond to wax paper, Teflon, polyethylene, and some other plastics. I own a furniture refinishing business and I needed a lot of @%ickwood to repair a ton of missing chunks of wood on chair legs and table legs for a dining set. I ordered some of the expensive stuff and was curious about PC Products version. I read on their website and they look to have been in this wood "putty" business for a long time and they are here in the states. The price was a lot less than the other brand. I bought two of them and wow, it's the same stuff or close enough. Does exactly what I need it to and sands as well, stains the same and accepts lacquer perfectly. And when I say sands well, you who have used this type of putty know that it clogs every type of sanding product out there so that's a given, but it will sand. The point is, it's the same type of product for a lot less. I was even able to make a mold of some repeating shapes with it and made my own replacements using PC putty. Give it a try. It's a 20 minute dry time and I haven't seen a 5 minute one. That's ok, I always do my putty a few hours or more before staining anyway. ... show more

Easy to use. Smells really bad but if you work outside it wouldn’t be too bad. Very sturdy once dried and you don’t need too much to cover big surfaces. I dropped a project with that as coating down the stairs and it had no marks. Don’t try and mix it with bare hands, it may give you a reaction. I tried that once because I don’t like the way gloves feel, my hands were peeling for weeks. ... show more

Works just like it is supposed to. I patched holes up to 2 inches wide with this. You can paint it after it hardens.

First time I didn't understand how it works and didn't mix it well so wouldn't harden. There are 2 distinct colors you have to mix it really well, then place it or form in shape, and it will turn hard just like wood

Used this product to fill some gaps in fascia boards after retrofitting gutters for she shed. Other products come in 2 parts which makes it hard since I don’t scoop out equal volumes. This epoxy mix is premeasured and easier to use.
