UPDATE: 8/12/2025 (an update for my two prior reviews & refunds💵 and replacements👍) Dog/background: I have an older 13 y/o Shih Tzu/ Maltese dog. with her being older, I’ve been trying to buy things to make her more comfortable to assist her with her older age. When she is outside on Walks or in her carrier I’ve always noticed that she doesn’t like the sun in her eyes. So I decided to purchase her a hat. I’ve gone through a multitude of hats, & they never worked out for her. Her head was too small & she found a way to take them off. So when I came across this pet hat with a lot of adjustment options I was thrilled to make the purchase. Also, after seeing dogs with small heads like my dog, I felt very secure with getting this item. Purchase: My initial order was met with an error, once it arrived I noticed the size was Large. I checked my invoice to make sure I didn’t make a mistake during my order & found that I did not order a large. So I decided to seek a refund & just count my losses. I left a review with pictures explaining my situation & wanted to send back the item. After mashings a multitude of buttons on the Amazon app, I was able to find ( or so I thought ) how to contact the seller for a refund. I took the QR code given to me via email & the item to Whole Foods to complete my proportion of the refund/replacement. Refund/Replacement: after pleading my case to what I believed was the seller, I moved on. A few days later I got an email later stating that a replacement delivery completed, to my shock. I opened the package & it was a replacement for the original dog hat however, The replacement was a Large. A bit perturbed at this point I got an updated email from Amazon asking me to leave a review. My review was the same sentence over & over filling in the key points but only that “the hat is too big for my dog”. 3rd Try’s the charm-Real Replacement/Seller: A few days after leaving a review for the replacement, I received a message notification from the seller (summarizing) 1. No idea of any errors with my order, and had already submitted a FULL REFUND. 2. Offered me a real replacement (with options) at NO EXTRA CHARGE TO ME. They also clarified that this WHOLE TIME I have been dealing with Amazon exclusively. All of this was to my shock, & I expressed I had no idea that they weren’t involved, & how even I found it odd that you couldn’t message the seller directly.( It’s been years since I’ve had to do any type of refund. I just assumed that the options i found were the new procedure for discrepancies.) THIS SELLER IS AMAZING! I am profoundly grateful for the exceptional customer service provided by this seller. The professionalism demonstrated throughout our interaction is highly praiseworthy & exemplifies a level of interpersonal skills that are not commonly encountered in 2025. The seller listened attentively to my responses & offered multiple solutions to my concerns regarding my purchase. They even offered me a refund & a replacement at no charge to me. Please note that the seller was not initially involved in the first replacement, as Amazon had taken the initial action. It was not until afterward that the seller became involved & still provided me with the opportunity for a refund & a replacement. I am truly thankful, & my dog, who is my top priority, will greatly benefit from this company. Item Review: The size fits!!! 🤩✨as stated in my prior reviews, the quality of the hat is outstanding. Every time I received a package from the seller it was packaged very nicely & secure. My personal favorite feature is the adjustable options. Being able to adjust the hat to her head, whether she is fresh from the groomers, or is in between grooms and has a bit more hair, the hat can still fit her comfortably. The cap itself is made with quality materias. It was sewn well. Be sure to measure your dogs head according to the measurements provided to ensure a proper fit for your pup. The bill of the cap is a bit shorter than I anticipated, but it still looks sporty. The cap is easy to put on and take off.

Pros, cons, and fixes Pos: -looks great -the hat has a solid build -Sizing is accurate -Ear holes have great size and placement Cons: -the adjustable strap clip doesn't keep a good hold, looks nice though. -hat doesn't hold position, especially if there is added wind pressure. Fixes: -At first I tied the rope below the clip, which seemed to work ok. Then I changed to a second clip below, so I can still adjust it. -i created my own little clip to keep the hat in place. The clip itself goes from the back of the hat to the dogs collar. I took 2 typical suspender clips $3. Then I took them apart and put aside one of the metal rods. The other one I bent into a rectangle, and attached it to both clips. It works perfectly đź‘Ť and to make it look more official I cut some of the Velcro from the person hat and put it on my attachment (Velcro didn't have a tight hold so i used a little glue)

Product is pretty wonky stitches and fabric are unsymmetrical. I’m still keeping it because you know it was still cheap for a dog hat, but it’s the fact that I paid money for something that wasn’t really done properly. The quality is very cheap. It doesn’t even look like it was finished cause it has pieces that aren’t stitched down properly. I’m just gonna take it through my own sewing machine because I feel like I could do a much better . probably will not purchase again
