I’ve tried CC creams, but they are still a bit too heavy for me, plus oily and they crack throughout the day. This stuff is great! I like the light tint. It doesn’t really tan me or anything, just sort of smooths the complexion a bit. Works great for me, since I don’t wear makeup (: It is pretty dry.. it’s winter right now. I’ve been using a moisture locking serum before i put this on, and my skin feels great.

I have an oil-prone T-zone, and as I've aged, most of the moisturizing sunscreens are too oily, leaving me shiny and requiring powder, which just accentuates lines. This cream is moisturizing, but not at all oily. It is not the same as a matte powder finish, but just a very slight glow, like natural skin. It's sheer coverage, so the tint doesn't cover much in the way of tone evening or blemishes, but it gives a slight smoothing to the complexion. The tint itself is light, which is nice for my very fair skin, as other tinted moisturizers can end up too dark for me. It also doesn't have the heavy feeling of many sunscreens. It does go on a bit watery, but that contributes to the moisturizing. I use a dime size amount to ensure full coverage, and massage for a minute or so while it soaks in and dries. I wanted something I could take with me to Mexico in February, and reapply multiple times without relying on makeup. It's SPF 30 so I expect it will prevent burning, but I intend to use a hat or shade as well. I'll report back if I find the sun protection lacking. For a zinc oxide product, this soaks in quick, doesn't sting your eyes and absolutely not greasy. The salicylic acid in it actually creates a drying / tightening effect. A little goes a long way which is good because this product is expensive for the amount you get. Product looks nicely tinted when it comes out but is actually a little pasty looking when you apply it. Make-up applies well over this product. Skin tone and texture has improved since using. I got the travel size to try. Yes; it's basically the size of a deluxe sample and expensive. But Paula's Choice products are expensive in general so I wasn't too shocked by the size for $16. It's a great product. Feels great on the skin. Not heavy. It's tinted in a "no white cast" way not a "foundation" way but it's enough to smooth out my complexion overall.
