I'd been using Tatcha products for years but decided to look for more affordable options and eventually decided to try this. I'd seen the brand around a bunch but idk, the name Paula's Choice just made me think of someone's nana, like it was the millennial mary kay but ya know what, Nana knows best, okay! This is amazing. I have dryyyyyyy skin. Remember that spongebob episode where he gets stuck with the squirrel too long? that's my skin after a hot shower. But this stuff is amazing. I noticed shortly after using it that my skin wasn't dry, plumper and had a more even texture. It gave me better result than my $60 face wash (which I'd loved) and will now be replacing that splurge purchase. The things to consider: I don't know if this is truly a cleanser. It's a lotion that identifies as a cleanser. So is it lotion? IDK! but there is zero lather and although it has transformed my skin, it doesn't really make my skin feel "clean" when I use it by itself and it's not great at completely removing makeup. I've been using this as the first product in my double cleanse and am loving it, but if you want just one product for a face wash, maybe this isn't it? After having my son, my skin has been so dry! I bought this and after about a week I started noticing that my skin was feeling less dry. I usually prefer a gel like face lotion, but this one actually feels really good on my skin and actually feels like it’s cleaning it. I have incredibly sensitive and HORRIBLY dry skin year round. I'm also a dancer, so I wear makeup frequently and taking makeup on/off all the time was making my skin even worse. I have tried every single product under the sun for years. High end skin care, drug store, medications, nothing worked. I bought this cleanser along with the Paula's Choice Toner and my skin not only looks phenomenal, but it SO. SOFT. Even where I would get really dry patches, my skin feels incredible. It doesn't lather like normal face wash but I still feel like I'm getting my face clean. I will usually let it sit on my face for a few extra seconds before I wash it off.     • Doesn't remove all my makeup
I like the feel of this in my skin it's very silky but my eyes have raccoon circles around them from my makeup after washing. It doesn't remove all my eye makeup and I don't even really wear that much makeup. My skin feels hydrated after use

    • Surprisingly Great for Sensitive Skin!! Not Drying at all!!
If you've read my other skincare reviews, you know all about my terribly sensitive, angry, redness and eczema-prone skin. I have reacted to all sorts of products that are "approved for sensitive skin," and I have only found a select few products where my skin does not flare like a New Year's Eve sparkler. This is one of those products!!!! I double cleanse in the evening- I use this as my cream cleanser now and I will keep purchasing! :) The oil cleanser I use is from Laneige, and you can see I wrote a review on this product as well. I use the two of them together and my skin stays calm. I love this cleanser, not just because my skin approves it, but also because it is not drying!!! It effectively cleanses your skin without feeling like you applied an astringent to your face afterwards. It is super gentle yet effective at cleansing. I think this cleanser could be used for any skin type- definitely dry, sensitive skin approved!!! ... show more

I have looked for hydrating face wash that does well with exfoliating and this is great! It doesn't get as sudsy as I'd like but it gets the job done and it does it very well! I have super dry skin and this works great for me!

I have always had large dirty pores. I’ve tried it all, Clinique, origins, a viral bar of soap, even using the bha 2% by Paula’s choice barely helped only if I applied twice a day without skipping. Y’all I’m not kidding I got this yesterday and washed my face ONCE then put on makeup and shamelessly fell asleep with it on. This morning I went to wash off my past mistake I notice my nose.. was clear and that’s weird. So I washed my face and YALL my pores shrunk, they’re completely clean and outside of some purging, my face has never been so smooth, supple, and clear. AFTER ONE WASH AND COMMITTING A SKIN CARE SIN. if it works for you the way it worked for me, you’ll wonder why you haven’t tried it sooner and kept using what you had because “ you bought it so finish it first” bump that. I wanna be pretty now not 6 weeks from now. I wish I had threw away the tube of origins I was using the last of and swapped my entire care routine to this brand.
