Love this product. Second time buying it. Lasted much longer than anticipated so the price point is reasonable in my opinion. I have normal skin with a T zone.     • Be Carefull 1st timers!!!
I went in knowing that this could sting a bit at first (which it did) while your skin got used to it. I followed the instructions but using this 2 times the first week, and then gradually increasing to every other night, and ALWAYS following up with a nice moisturizer (in my research this was key because Retinol is known to be drying). It's been a few weeks, and now it doesn't bother my skin at all, but I still use this every other night. The scent isn't great - but I didn't buy it to smell pretty. As for results - I did not take a before and after picture. I don't know if it's working, but I also wanted to use this as more long-term to keep my skin youthful for as long as possible than immediate results. I also don't expect as much of a result as these long time daily users because I am and will continue to use this every other night. I could probably use this every night now, I just don't care to because I like my current regiment My skin type is oily-normal, semi-acne prone (less now that I'm using a good regiment) and isn't sensitive to much. I have combination skin with a bit oily T-zone and dehydrated skin. After using it at night for a month, I've found it brightened my skin and made it looks not dull. I've just finished 1 bottle and now my skin looks more transparent and lucent. It also balanced the oil secretion on my nose and less blackhead was appeared. Pores are tightened and refined. This is my first time using Retinol and I have dry-sensitive skin. I was super scared but I used a little bit of Moisturizer beforehand on sensitive areas like recommended and was completely fine! This was my intro to retinols! I have combo/dry, reactive mature skin. I began every 3 days for 2 weeks, then every other for 1 week, and now 5x a week with nights off for chemical exfoliation. I had some redness around my mouth and chin the first time I used it, but that was the only irritation I had! I never had redness again. I used it on my face, ears, neck, chest and back of my hands. That being said, I’m not sure if it’s working, but my daughter has said that my skin looks better 👏😀 I’m moving on to Differin now, but I think this is a fantastic starter retinol. ... show more
