At first, my skin was very upset and erupted in a rash on my cheekbones and breakouts around my mouth and jaw. However, after I started spacing out days I used it so I could adjust my skin now loves it. If you’ve never used retinol, I don’t suggest starting with 1% or you’ll hurt your skin. I’ve been using a weak retinol then moved to this and my skin still freaked out. I suggest starting with CeraVe or something else gentle and working up to a 1%. My skin is looking smoother and it’s helping manage and prevent breakouts, especially on my chest. ... show more

    • Finally a retinol with no cones..
This is the first retinol I have found that does not have any “cones” or added fragrance, which always break me out. I love that I can add this to my moisturizer or use it alone. My skin is clearer and brighter. All around fabulous product!

For me, retinol is retinol. But I was disappointed at how fast the bottle ran out. I feel like even for the ounce amount, it ran out way faster than other retinols i’ve used. Would not rebuy.

    • I can feel the tingling
The media could not be loaded. Can’t see much of a difference YET but this is my first month trying Retinol and so far so good. I can feel the tingling from it so to me I know it’s doing something. I’ll keep you all updated throughout the months

Favorite retinol product I’ve tried. I took a couple of weeks building up to using this every night. It fees good and my skin tolerates it well. Other retinol products have upset my skin in the past. Love that there isn’t really a smell and I am noticing a difference after a few weeks. One minor flaw is it’s in a solid plastic container and you have no idea when it’s getting low. Bought my first Boost 1% retinol from Paulas Choice website. Loved it had no adverse reactions. Bought my second one from Amazon & used it as I usually did. The next day or two noticed some peeling & irritation ( some redness)starting. Took bout a week for the peeling to stop. Not sure why this happened? Hopefully this product comes right from the Paulas Choice company? Going to try it on my hand & see what happens. ... show more
