This item has been with me for a very short time. My bad habits of tailgating forced me to order the Patsco Windshield Repair Kit because I was tired of spending money on replacing chipped windshields every time a rock flew up while driving. Plus, with the covid pandemic going on, taking my car to an auto shop is not my ideal activity at this moment. So, I took matters into my own hands and researched DIY windshield repair kits online. The Patsco kit had great reviews, was affordable and easy to use. The kit came with all the tools needed and step-by-step instructions so even someone like me with zero experience in fixing windshields could do it. The end result exceeded my expectations!     • I failed at making this work correctly.
The Patsco Windshield Repair Patch sounded like the right thing for me to use. I had a chip on my passenger side windshield. I followed the directions, but I am assuming that the seal wasn't good enough. After the product cured I used the razor blade to remove the excess and when I looked at the repaired chip closely from inside the car I could see that the liquid had not filled the chip to the depth that was needed to completely fill in the chip. There was an open space like an air bubble there. I took pictures but the sunlight and angles didn't show the chip good enough to illustrate the issues. The chip looked a little bit better but not a great job. I take the blame, I'm not always the best with these types of things. I will give it another chance on the next chip I get. I would recommend the Patsco Windshield Repair Patch product, it is better than paying to replace the windshield and you may have better luck than I did. ... show more

The product worked on the small area needed to seal the small chip in my windshield. Ideally, the suction could be better though.
