This exhaust sounds and looks great, but if you are mounting them on a Corvette, be ready to make your own brackets!! The brackets provided only give you about 1 3/4” clearance! By making my own, i was able to get about 3”. Believe it or not, 3” is plenty high enough to drive anywhere you want. (Except speed bumps!). They have drug a little on steep driveways, but hitting them at an angle really helps. They HAVE NOT drug hard enough to cause damage! I first purchased these for my 77 International Scout about eight years ago and some people had a issue with rust but I keep my truck in a garage when I’m not using it and I don’t have a spot of rust on them yet. Just got a second set for my 95 454 big block wrangler

Purchases side pipes in February. Did not even hook up to exhaust, they were just for looks. Warranty says 1 year. I called Patriot Exhaust Products and they refused to do anything. They told me to call Amazon. I attempted to call Amazon, spoke to a robot who put me on hold and then I was disconnected. I do not recommend this product to anyone. ... show more

The exhaust seem to be good quality, but I wasn't a fan of the supplied mounting brackets. I made them work, but I used bolts, nuts, and fender washers instead of the screws the kit came with. They would just pull right out of the sheet metal. My only real complaint was they're not very loud, at all. I was expecting a nice loud growl for my v8 ranger, but they're just not that loud. The way they are made however, you could easily put a piece of pipe in place of the muffler section to really wake them up. I'm hoping they get louder as they age. ... show more

Have had this system before, so I knew what to expect. First one lasted for 10+years , so I knew I wanted another just like it. First one shipped quickly, but had scratches and other problems, NOT Amazons fault. When told, Amazon quickly shipped another system , and was very courteous and sympathetic about it.
