The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using the PATPET GPS dog fence, and overall, I really like it. It works well and does what it’s supposed to, keeps my dog within the set area without using shock. The sound and vibration warnings are enough for my dog, and it’s nice to have a more humane option. Setup was simple since there are no wires to bury. The collar feels solid and fits my dog comfortably (he’s a large breed), and the battery lasts long enough for daily use. I’d recommend this system if you have a medium or large dog and want a reliable, easy-to-use wireless fence. I’m happy with it, and it’s given me peace of mind when my dog is outside.

Setting up this GPS fence system was easier than I expected. It took some time to find a good balance between the collar's sensitivity and the layout of our open property, but after a few tries, I settled on a radius that worked well. The adjustable range lets you pick how far you want your dog to go, and there’s no physical wire involved, which saved me some effort. It runs on satellite signals, so it’s designed for outdoor use, and you’ll need clear surroundings for the most accurate response. I’ve used both the sound and vibration alerts, and they’ve been enough for our large dog to respond without any problems. The collar fits around his neck comfortably and seems to stay in place during long walks or running around the backyard. I don’t use the shock setting, and so far it hasn’t been necessary. The GPS takes a minute or two to lock in when turning it on, but once it’s active, it holds the area well. The battery life has held up for several uses without needing a charge every day. I didn’t test it in woods or steep areas, since we mostly use it in open space around the farm. If your dog tends to roam or wander into neighboring fields, this can help bring some structure without needing to install a permanent fence. It’s not a small collar, so I think it’s best for dogs who weigh a bit more and can handle a slightly bulkier unit.

This Wireless Dog Fence GPS Dog Collar is super easy to use and makes me feel safe knowing my big dog, can run around but won’t get lost. Setting it up was a breeze. I just plugged in the base station, charged the collar for two hours, and it was ready. The screen lights up so I can change the settings even when it’s still charging! My backyard is about half an acre, which is perfect because it says it works best in open spaces of at least 3/4 acre, but it still does great in my yard. I set the boundary to 50 yards so he can play by the pool but won’t go too far. The GPS is really accurate unless a big tree is in the way, so I moved the base station away from the oak tree and it got even better. My dog went swimming yesterday, and the collar didn’t even blink. It survived baths and rain, so I never worry about it getting ruined. The strap fits his neck perfectly—adjustable from 10 to 26 inches—so it’s comfy and stays on.
