I can send out the good ones, and the bad ones I can practice more on the back w/ feeling wasteful. Happy with my purchase, and love that they come w envelopes as well.

1st-these are postcards, not cards, BUT they do include envelopes. The envelopes are nice quality too, better than some other sets I have gotten. The cards do appear to be 100% cotton, with a good quality thickness , same as all my watercolor paper. They do have a rather pronounced grain to them--best described as fine straight parallel lines. So overall I will use these but probably will not order again as I prefer a folded card. And I will probably get tired of the grain pretty quickly. The value is not great with this set because I can cut 5x7 pieces of paper myself out of watercolor paper and have better quality for the price, but because the deckle edge envelopes are included, it makes it a decent value.

Great for a class project

I was excited to order such a quantity of both watercolor paper and envelopes as I do a lot of cards for other people. However, the card stock is very thin, very flimsy and does not allow movement of your watercolor. The photos I have included was my test test painting, it looks as if I painted with marker instead of watercolor, the paper absorbed water so much that if any pigment in my watercolor was there it stayed it could not be lifted, no matter how hard I scrubbed it did not allow for any blending. I would not recommend this paper for any advanced students or advanced artist. However, I will be using this for my four-year-old. Very unsatisfied customer here hopefully we can salvage what we got. Envelopes were just fine, but not worth the money paid out when I could just easily go get envelopes from the store.

There is no glue on the envelope flap! However, the cards are quite good quality for watercoloring... I wouldn't recommend this
