This brush is amazing! I have a Border Collie mix with a thick double coat, and this is the first brush that actually removed the loose undercoat. Regular brushes and combs barely removed any hair, but this one made a huge difference. Just use it GENTLY and avoid applying too much pressure, especially on sensitive areas like the belly and chest. If your dog has a double coat and sheds a lot, I highly recommend it. Just made sure that I went easy for the first time. As an older dog, she has some bumps and things that you don’t want to catch with a normal brush or comb. Wooly husky owner here, works great on fur that is 1” to 2” long. Pulls the undercoat out like butter. My Husky has really long fur on her hind legs/butt which is 4” to 5” long. The longer spots are a challenge for this brush. It does get out the under coat but definitely struggles. Doesn’t glide through like the shorter parts of her coat. But it definitely was fur-ageddon.
