It has everything I need time date and a stopwatch all of it is very easy to use, It's very simple and very easy to see. No it does not have the ability to tell you hundreds of things that you will never want to know from your watch anyhow, it does not have 3000 different settings that you need an encyclopedia to to tell you how to actually try to use but still can't figure out how, nor will Tell you what time it is in Prague, Hamburg or dozens of other European cities that you could care less about. It will however tell you perfectly what time and date it is where you are at right now at right now and allow you to very easily use a stopwatch to see how long you've been on break or how long it takes you to get back-and-forth from work. And by the way the illumination function will also light up a small room, It is very very bright...... I can't believe this thing only cost that much, I am seriously considering buying several more just to keep an drawer in case I ever need them. Just buy one for the fun of waiting for a package to show up and then realize you never should have lived without 1........ And by the way I have multiple G shocks And a smart watch and I still love this ... show more

Does exactly what it says background light only if you touch button last about 3 seconds .can't get it to go to right day if week today is wed.and it says sat. Fits great and I have tiny 6.25 inch wrist also arthritis in my wrist and it doesn't annoy it like my apple watch does.price fabulous looks stylish even on me at 70+. Not so easy to set up and my friend couldn't get it on right day week either ... show more

I love this watch. If u have small wrists it's not for you. It's more of a man's watch. I have it strapped on in the last hole and still a bit big. I like the backlight.i didn't follow instructions to set just kept playing with it. I got it all set.

My 3 rd time buying this particular watch. Big dial , waterproof . First one good , setting a pita . 2nd one band just broke in half and it’s rubber???? On third . Comfortable to wear.

POOR INSTRUCTIONS AS WITH WITH MOST WATCHES OF THIS CALIBER; BUT FUNCTIONAL. THE INSTRUCTIONS, HOWEVER DID OT INDICATE HOW TO ATTACH THE BAND, WHICH GAVE ME A LITTLE DIFFICULTLY. REASONABLY LARGE FACE WITH GOOD LIGHT. THE ONE PROBLEM I HAVE NOTICED IS THE INADEQUATE VOLUME OF THE ALARM. DON'T BOTHER WITH SETTING THE ALARM FOR IMPORTANT APPOINTMENTS. YOU WILL NEVER HEAR IT UNLESS YOUR IN COMPLETE SILENCE. IF YOU SET IT WAKE YOU UP, YOU WON'T HEAR IT UNLESS YOU ARE A LIGHT SLEEPER AND THE WATCH IS RIGHT NEXT TO YOUR EAR. ... show more

I have been wearing this type of watch for more years than watches have been invented. The last five or six watches or so, I could not see the time very well in the daylight and especially not in dim light. This watch not only is it excellent with everything that I need on it but I can clearly and easily see it. And then when I turn on the light of the watch it's like a lighthouse lighting up the living room. I have taken a shower with it on multiple times and I have not had any issues with it being wet.
