We had some friends visiting from out of town and were looking for a fun way to entertain in the evening. I have to admit, I owe my husband an apology but I had my doubts when he found this game to try. We thought a "Battle of the Sexes" type game would be fun given the company we had over but never really enjoyed the game known by that name. Them and Use is a clever, but simple game intended for adults. I would hazard against playing this with your parents or young teens but otherwise, it can really liven up a party. You may find out way too much about what your friends or family know, but otherwise it is a blast. Players divide into two teams. MEN vs WOMEN. Wrks if you are playing 2 v 2 or in large groups but smaller groups may actually be easier. Players are given a subject and the opposing team must shout out as many words/items/answers as they can think of before the timer runs out. The challenge here is that you never know just which of the answers you shout out will actually be listed on the card. Think of it like the gameshow "Family Feud" Game can be a bit more challenging when you have large groups guessing because even though you may have more minds to shout out guesses, it can also be challenging to ensure your answers are heard by the opposing team (they must check off which answers are heard that are on the card). This lends itself to house rules and some judgment calls but it is fun for sure! Pleasantly surprised at just how fun this game really is! This is a fun game with simple rules. The rounds go quickly so the players maintain their interest. Some questions are tough because there are so many options available but only 10 'correct' answers.

    • I think this game would be more fun if there were more questions
This is an adult game that has some R-rated questions and some PG-13 It is meant for 4 or more players with a team of men and a team of women - boys vs. girls. There are a stack of cards with categories, each card only has 10 "correct" answers so this is what makes the game more challenging. The game includes the category cards, a sand timer, a scoring card, 2 pencils, and instructions. I think this game would be more fun if there were more questions. Or a downloadable app where you can get more categories. I think it is a fun game to play at home with other couples but gets old after a little while. Nice game to add to stack of board games. I did receive this product at a discount for an honest and unbiased review. I am not required to leave a positive review but I will when I feel the product deserves it. Great game to bring out when you have one of those couple nights or have a group of friends of both genders. A little friendly competition never hurt anyone, unless you are very easily offended (then maybe you want to just watch or do something else). Men versus Women the ever long battle of the sexes is brought to you in the form of a card style game.I gave this to my cousin because she loves having parties and playing all types of games, it's never the same game when we all get together (unless its a request). Everyone had a blast playing this and there was so much laughing! I got this game at a discount for an honest review, and I would buy it again for myself! ... show more

This game is ok. It's not exactly as good as I thought it would be. If it had more cards, I think it would be even better. After playing a couple times, you will start to become familiar with the answers so it is no longer as entertaining. This is definitely a game for adults because some of the questions are R rated for sure. It would be fun to use for a gathering of friends while having a few drinks.
